I hadn't posted all weekend. Not feeling the best, but I just wrote this under the influence. Hope its readable.
Gazing at your body like I'm watching stars
Falling deep into your eyes, ain't no pressing pause.
Leaking fluid from my heart, I can't help but stare
You take my cares, then suddenly they're barely there.
And if you even had a clue of what you do to me
You'd probably
Hear melodies produced by heart strings.
You bring the loving feeling back in a mega way
You make my day,
And all you have to really say..
Is "Hey"
By now it should be nothing new,
That you're my woman
And baby, ooo
I'm feeling you.
And while you may not think I'm up for it
Give it a chance

Fallen Stars And Angel Feathers
I'm tired of putting out fires, having the talks no one will, and getting nothing in return. At first I was satisfied with helping healing, but I find that more and more I'm getting burned by those who listen but also hate to be preached to. Getting treated like a telephone off the hook, just a dial tone to speak to when no one else will look or try to reach you. Getting rained on like a jogger who didn't read the weather, whether or not it's the middle of July. Getting nowhere fast with all my endeavors no matter what I try. Betting on red and getting black and blue, Laying all my cards down on the table and getting royally screwed. Because sometimes even a royal flush won't win the pot, sometimes even when we win we don't know exactly what we've got. And in the end I know I'm meant to do what I've always done, but every now and then I'd like a break, to be able to get the wish on every star I make, to be stable in my steps forward no matter where they take me. I just want someone there who will never forsake me, never leave me high and dry when the tides go out, who will lay there in the darkness with me when the lights of heaven burn out. And I'm searching, yes I'm searching every constellation...I'm finding only fallen stars and angel feathers. I'm finding only battle scars and stormy weather. I'm finding out that the more I search, the more I only find bare traces, and that the harder that I look the harder it is to find the face of....anyone in general, let alone a savior, be it in my soul or this cup of liquid sorrow that I've filled with my frozen veins with. And you may not believe me but I've got atleast a small idea of what pain is, and it's what I'm feeling now as I sit and write it plain here. I'm clinging to this little spark of hope I've kept hidden in my chest, and I'm saving it, protecting it until the true blaze can be set. And I'm not a failure in life, or love but I'm not quite a success...and damn I'm oh so close to my limits, but I'm not giving up or giving in just yet....
