Take it to a PM level instead of "threading" back and forth w/ the same poster in the same or multiple threads...that's 1 thing that starts the "skipping" factor.

Also, someone else said avoid General Board and hang out on Playground. This is good advice. They are merciless with the Alt hounding on the GB(seriously, people have time for this?).

So am I. But the skipping thing IMO is bcoz of slow lag or high volume of posters, shiz happens. Can't believe that many ppl are petty enough to skip on purpose.

There are numerous threads that say....XXXX "above you". IMO, It's common courtesy not to ignore the person above you, just so you can get to a person above the person above you, like sometimes 10 persons above you.

I've been guilty of that, but I try not to be. I think it's rude.

Hey they can go beat their meat in the proper places.

that has nothing to do with what is going on in that thread currently.

Do what I did which was to take a deep breath and jump right in at the deep end by opening an intro thread.
Don't take anything seriously.
Always try to be polite in certain threads.
