I've been noticing lately how many of the most awesome women of Lit are Texas women. And I think we deserve to have our own little place here where we can get together, kick back and be our most amazing selves. So I'm opening the Ice House, one of those quintessential little dives with the rollup doors to let in as much of the fabulous Texas weather as possible - where the beer is always cold, the company is always great, and the big screen tv is always on. I hope all of you Texas girls, and friends of Texas girls, will feel at home here and that all of you guys who realize how totally "fuckawesome" we are (in the words of one of our number!) will choose to hang out with us.
So, with that, I now pronounce the Texas Ladies Ice House open for business! First round of Lone Star is on the house!
Well, I'm definitely not from Texas, but you're one of my favorites here on Lit, so I'll drink a beer with you, girl!!!

Its a little town up I-35E across the lake from Lewisville and before Denton. Company I work for now is headquartered in Irving, knew if they were going to lure any of us down then it needed to be near a lake..

I can't taste tea though, it's just bitter water. I love smelling it though such a pleasing aroma.
