For me, both have their different appeal. Part of what's interesting to me is a woman's own feelings about it.

A shy woman might have never shaved or trimmed; having her shave bald will make her feel different, perhaps slutty, most likely leave her feeling exposed, and definitely it will focus her thoughts on her genital area and the fact that I've made her change; she has a constant reminder of what we're doing.

On the other hand, if a woman always keeps herself hairless, and especially if she feels self-conscious and embarrassed by body hair, it can be interesting to forbid her from shaving or depilating. Again, it will make her self-conscious, and aware of my commands altering the way she's used to taking care of her body.

Over a longer period of time, I may have a woman be bare for a while and then be hairy for a while, as my whims take me.
