Demoing I enjoy. It can take a bit longer for me to get into the proper headspace depending on how distracting the audience is, but sometimes the nerves make the experience even better. There is a certain pride from doing things in front of an audience too, a nice sense of accomplishment.

Sounding...I have mixed feelings about. I'm sure it's because I stick catheters in people multiple times a day, but I don't see it as having a pleasurable/sexual connotation. I've seen the gamut from ambivalent to crawling off the bed screaming from patients when I've put in catheters. Neither of which is particularly inspiring. I am curious as to how it feels and not opposed to trying it. I'd like to know how it feels, just to know.

The demo Top (who is a long-time RN) talked our ears off about sanitation and antisepticness. She gave me a gallon of water, and I drank most of it, got up twice in the night-- it burned a bit the first time, tingled the second time-- and my morning piss was accompanied by a sense of health and well-being that is difficult to describe. I haven't had any sensation of infection whatsoever since.

A slug of cranberry juice wouldn't hurt...

And most of the proper suspensions that are done are actually not that stressful on the joints in general. The standard loading points are chest, waist, and hips. That's where the majority of the body weight is supported from as that is where the body is designed to handle weight. The rest of the tie is aesthetic, basically.

The kinbaku live drawing thing is actually really cool. Neat find.
