It is stated in the rules that Literotica promotes diversity and "Free Speech"

So what are we to make of a mod who invents a 'rule' so as to create an excuse to toss the only person talking about love and bdsm?

The claim is we cannot discuss stories in BDSM Talk if we post the story verbatim.

We can, however, discuss stories in BDSM Talk if we refer to the stories through a link.

Nowhere is there a rule that states this.

The mod refuses to point to the rule she claims states this.

And despite the fact there is no rule stating this, we are all supposed to know this 'rule' and abide by it or be tossed.

So in what way does the invention of a 'rule' so as to single out one individual who is the only individual discussing love and bdsm and threaten him with banishment promote "diversity and free speech"?

You are seriously misguided.

I hate to shatter your illusion but you arent the only person on the board or in the world to have a loving bdsm relationship. As I have already pointed out in the other thread, the majority of regular posters here, whether in M/s, D/s, poly etc are in committed, lasting and loving relationships.

If you look around you at some of the the threads like distance domination, dear x, what makes you smile etc etc... you will see countless expressions of love.

So maybe, just maybe the reason you have been pulled up over this and your attempted monoploy of the talk board is due to something else....give other people a chance to participate Bloved by posting new threads, instead of dominating the board. You and the rest of us are missing out on some good discussions and topics.

Its strange that the one person here who claims to be the only purveyor of love is the one who has attempted to create so much disharmony.

You're claims would have more merit if you avoided the invention of straw men.

I would love to see more people talking about love and bdsm.

What I see is a bunch of trolls trying to shut down any discussion on the subject, and now one of them has been promoted to act as 'mod'.

perhaps its time to take the blinkers off then.

Having posted here for 4 years now I am more than certain in my claim.

If people look, they will see testimonies to love and their SO's all over the place.

I'm sure Etoile appreciates the distraction, but let's get back to the topic, shall we?

The irony in the title of this thread just hit me lol

Promoting diversity and free speech - by monopolising the board and topics for discussion and creating an environment that makes it difficult for new posters to start threads lol.

Etoile has moderated the GLBT forums for some time. She has been drafted in to help the BDSM forum mods because they both apparently have some serious life issues going on. Mods are volunteers and their job is difficult enough. Etoile has a life that doesn't revolve about you and your total self absorption. Cut the girl some slack and stop spamming the forum with new threads about topics you've already discussed at great length.

Maybe there's no rule because no one regularly posted the entire text of their stories ad nauseam in this talk forum before. I don't think it ever occurred to anyone that it might happen in the forum. wtf's the big deal? Quote short portions of your stories if you want, or post a link. Think Shakespeare posted the entirety of Othello into his posts on the Stratford-upon-Avon village square BDSM slateboard? No, because ye mods called his ass on it.

I heartily endorse this comment, and just wrote it in green fabric marker on a white T-shirt.

I am sure they've noticed just how hostile the trolls are towards anyone who doesn't agree with them.

Congratulations, trolls. Your obsessive need to tell the world over and over again how much you and your friends hate me has kept my discussions on the top of the list for yet another night.

She singles me out for censorship and official threat of banishment based on a non-existent 'rule' and I'm supposed to "cut her slack"?

If by trolls you are referring to the average poster here..perhaps its time to re assess your delivery.

And I can assure you, no matter how disruptive you are, you will leave at some point and people will get back to posting and having actual discussions.

I don't see why.

Are you suggesting they are not adults, responsible for their own behaviour?

If they feel they don't owe it to themselves to behave as mature adults in public, why should I refuse to point this out to the reader?

They represent the casual community, since they so frequently recommend involvement in the casual community to one and all.

If their recommendation is to have merit, shouldn't their public behaviour be beyond reproach?

For certainly if they cannot behave as mature adults in public, they can't behave as such in private either.

And I can assure you, no matter how disruptive you are, you will leave at some point and people will get back to posting and having actual discussions.

And until then they will leave a lasting impression in the minds of objective readers that will last and be transmitted to those who have not witnessed these events.

The trolls tried to erase all posts on "submission as a gift", and yet, as we can see, the idea caught on and grew.

There are a lot of witnesses to the public displays of the trolls in this group.

The lessons won't soon be forgotten, and they will be passed on.

How many more are you making and can I haz one?

It was a bitch to write out. But maybe, for a price...

Again, I really don't think most of it has to do with your views, per se.

You: "Everyone who doesn't agree with me is abusive."

Respectful, other person: "This is what I think, although I realize that maybe it doesn't fit for everyone in every situation. Your mileage may vary."

We are all responsible for our own behaviour, including you bloved.

I am a great believer in you reap what you sow.

And yes I am sure people new to the board will make their mind up.
