My PYL and I do not consider any play that occurs in public (any place where the general public can stumble upon us) to be acceptable. If you want to call a BDSM/sex club public play, that is a different story. We don't do that either, but that's just because we don't roll that way, not because we think there is anything wrong with it.

I agree with this. I find that my husband has fewer qualms about this than I do, but he considers my opinion and will tailor our play accordingly. It's not that he is necessarily into inflicting his will on "innocent" bystanders so much as it is that he thinks if there are no kids around, who cares?
