Who is BlackShanglan and why is he here?

Nice find. Wait, you probably have it bookmarked, dontcha?

I still have Scotty's "Five Great American Novels" thread bookmarked, thanks to Sean:

The truly amusing bits start at about this post:

I particularly like when they get into the hiphop works of Jane Austen. I laugh so hard that I have to put down fresh hay.

Byron, Skye, it's delightful to see you again.

Skye, I must stay away or I end up spending too much time pulling the tails of trolls and not enough writing the Great Equestrian Novel. It's slow enough work as it is, typing with these hooves. But it's always nice to stop back in and see a few old friends.

You, too! But yes, I can understand how one might feel guilty spending all day at the amusement park when there are novels to be written.

Speaking of that, I always wondered how you produce your posts. Are you using some sort of stylus with a normal human keyboard, or do you use a hoof on an oversized horse-keyboard?

You really should look into getting an underwood.

My favourite horsey *happy sighs*

Look, I've brought you some polos!

*strokes your nose*

You're right! The New Modulating Technology™ would obviate the need for him to leave his basement.

Then he could smoke crack constantly and not be interrupted.

Two years running and you're still spot on with this.

Looks like sean brought one of his old names back again!!

I bet he even bumped this thread to make it active again.

Liar, EL, it's wonderful to see you both. I hope that you're both still writing and being your warm and wonderful selves.

Byron, I use one of those lovely speech-to-text engines. It understands both English and Horseish.

I have some wild oats. Horsey hungry?

It's so sweet the way he flirts with me. It's almost enough to make me take him off of ignore.

He seems to be in one of his meltdown phases, if that's any help.

I thought that "nice guy" thread might do it. That topic sets his eye twitching like Inspector Dreyfuss's in the Pink Panther movies. Has he got the babysitter lined up for the spurious death announcement?

I hadn't opened that thread, as that old chestnut (no offence) had been done to death, or so I thought. I may have to rethink my stance when the need for absurdity arises within me.

Now that was a gross error on my part, I never thought to include the delivery method in my questionnaire.
