all you sexy crossdressers share ur sexy funny and/or serious stories about buying ur woman's clothes. were you nervous? did people suspect? just share.

I bought some red pumps once and i felt as if everyone knew wat they were for. especially since they were a large size and i kept looking at my feet. this older women looked at me and smiled. i would have talked to her if i wasnt so eager to leave. maybe next time.

i bought some clothes in a walmart when few people where in the store, since i didnt know what woman sizes would fit me i had to try on shoes when no one was looking. i found a size 12 shoe that was tight but did fit & as i was taking them off a woman came into the isile, she saw me but just walked by. I was scared but started to get hard at the same time. Next i bought a skirt & top. When i got home they where to big so i returned them forr the right size. It felt like everyone knew what i was doing but really nobody cared what i was doing. I perfer to buy on line i found a site for CD that give the right sizes, but the feeling i had in the store was a rush.

My First Corset

I began like everyone all nervous and thinking every one would know it was for me and I was such a perv. Over time I began to relax and enjoy the experience. I found a few shops that while I didn't say the clothes were for me I am sure they knew. Even to the point of knowing my name a suggestions for outfits.
I was just getting into vintage clothes and a shop owner finally took me aside and said if i really wanted to wear vintage clothes I needed a corset and while she did not carry them she suggested a shop that did.
Now I guess I had been more comfortable than I thought with my usual stores because I was shaking like a leaf when I went to the fetish store. It was intimidating seeing all the club wear and racks of corsets and latex. I puttered around for an hour and finally a girl came over and asked if I needed help picking a corset. I had fingered quite a few. I mumbled and sputtered and she just smiled and said she would love to fit one for me.
I am or was pretty vanilla and this woman with half a dozen piercings and tattoos was damn near scary. But when she smiled and asked which one I liked I just pointed to a black Vollers over bust. She took it down and told me to raise my arms and she put it on me right there in the store. No dressing room. She helped me find the right one for my body. She showed me how to tighten it by myself. How to care for it. Most important she showed me she was wearing one and she shared how much she liked them too. She was just amazing and professional. Needless to say I became a regular there too. Sadly they closed last year.

Most Memorable (so far)

As I am 6'-3", and wear a men's size 12 shoe, obviously I am pretty limited as to where I can shop, at least for shoes.

On a recent shopping excursion, I left with the intention of purchasing a new pair of 5 or 6 inch heels and then some lingere, and then to the mall just for kicks and maybe some regular (i hate that word, LOL) male clothing.

Anyway, as I was intending on purchasing some heels, I went ahead and prepared to some degree, for trying them on, by wearing some thigh highs under my jeans - which i wore with a t-shirt and converse sneakers.

I thought absolutely nothing about it all, went first to the only store in town (that I know of) that has a nice selection of shoes in a women's size 14, tried on a few pair (the sales girls there know the score, LOL) and finally picked out two pair. I looked around in their lingere department but nothing struck me so I paid and left.

Next stop was Victoria's Secret, where I did find a few things that I just could not live without, the sales lady there ask if I was shopping for my girlfriend or wife and I boldly replied "No, for myself!", remarkably she was incredibly accomodating and even offered advice on what she thought would look good. Needless to say, I bought several things and tipped the sales lady appropriately.

Now is where it gets interesting, or so I think: After picking up a few things and hitting the food court for a late and much needed lunch, I ran into Dillards, as I needed to pick up a new pair of dress shoes (yes men's). I did the usual wander around the department fending off salesmen at least until I could narrow down my choices to a number that I was actually willing to try on.

Finally, by the time the third salesman, a gentlemen who could not have been beyond his mid twenties, and dressed in the usual kahkis, shirt and tie, sleeve rolled up (you could tell he probably didnt dress like this except at work) anyway, by the he asked if i needed any help, I said yes and showed him the 3 pair I had narrowed my search down to. He asked if I knew my size or if I needed him to measure me, and I told him I was a 12. While waiting I found a seat (yea, they are one of the few dept stores around here that still fit you) which happened to be sort of in the corner of the department, and with no traffic. Upon his return he told me he only had 2 of my selections in a 12 and he of course had brought them. He offered to show me some others, but I assured him that provided they fit, I would probably be ok with either of the two.

Honestly, forgetting that I had not worn socks on account of my earlier and original shoe shopping excursion, I set my foot up on the slanted part of the stool they sit on, he removed my right shoe - to reveal my nylon clad foot. I tried not to laugh, when he looked up at me with what appeared to be SouthPark character eyes. LOL But never said a word, except; "are these the socks you will be wearing with these or do I need to get you a thicker pair?"

I assured him that these would be fine, and then to my suprise, I got what I believe to be the BEST foot massage I have ever had. I was thoroughly enjoying it and actually trying to figure out if he was getting aroused or were the loose fitting kahkis playing tricks on my eyes.

As I had to know for sure, and while he was still massaging my right foot, I slipped off my left shoe and after looking around to make certain that no one was looking, slid it between his spread legs to, well let's just say - return the favor of the wonderful massage.

Oh yea, I was right, he was aroused, LOL - way aroused.

The massage (of my foot) ended sooner than I would have liked it to, when he finally slipped my foot into the shoe I had selected, however I continued his massage for a short time. Nervously he asked if I would like to try both of them on and walk in them and I declined, telling him I would take them, and I did.

He took the shoe off, replaced it with my sneaker and we headed to the check out counter.

Poor guy, he told me he had just started there that week and thus had no business cards, but wrote his name on the back of my receipt telling me that he would be happy to help me should I need shoes at another time.

OK, so not overwhelming, but the coolest experience I have had shopping so far.

Wow! Quite the experience! Glad you had such a good day! Hugs, Jenna

Wow! That certain was a nice experience. They probably get quite a variety of customers in there and the sales people know how to handle each type. Glad you had such a great experience! Sorry to hear the shop has closed.

Iam one of the lucky ones I am only small about 5'3 and 118pounds so I dont have any problems I finf a british size 10 fits me.

Just for reference...I found that shoe sizes work like this...If your a size 10 in mens..add 2 and you're a 12 in womens....Its a general rule...I buy my clothes at walmart.....no one ever bats an eye...I just have a cart of stuff and some of it happens to be lingere!!!!!!!!! they don't have much in the way of sexy stockings though....another 'cheap" place to try clothes without trying them on but not spending too much money is Goodwill.....They won't bat an eye either!!!

First pair of heels i bought were in an adult shop that caters mainly to strippers. I walked around nervously trying to blend in while looking at the heels, i could not work up the courage to ask for help while two very attractive dancers were talking to the guy at the counter. However they eventually left and i was free to ask the guy to find the pair i wanted in a size 11 :). He asked if in i wanted to try them on but i just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible, so paid and hightailed it with my heart going a mile a minute.

I now buy heels online as its impossible to buy heels around a size 10.5/11 in the UK street stores.

Now as for my first clothes and lingerie in major stores it took a few attempts at going in and browsing before i managed to buy anything. On my third visit to H&M i managed to get up the courage to buy a frilly short gold flecked skirt that fit perfectly (working out what sizes you are beforehand is a big plus).

After that first excursion too H&M i now have no problem browsing around the womens sections, i am still however clueless as to what im looking for so just stick to skirts and lingerie for now.

My first trip into Ann Summers was a great experience(Uk equivalent of Victorias secret i guess) racks upon racks of lingerie, costumes and toys . I happily browsed around picking out a few things such as panties, bustiers and a school girl costume. This is also where i bought my first sex toy and the lady managing the section seemed to be really enjoying her job giving advice.

I visit Ann Summers at least once a week now and end up spending way too much money;) , however if the sales girls asks if what im buying is a gift my reflex action is always "yes".

Probably more like a Fredrick's of Hollywood. Victoria's Secrets doesn't have costumes or toys. I don't think the Fredrick's franchises have toys either, but their catalog or Hollywood store might. Been a while since I seen a Fredrick's Catalog.

Glad you had such fun on all your shopping trips.
