Maybe that's the outrage tinylittlegnat couldn't seem to find directed at Palin...

So if I understand you correctly, it's okay for a POLITICIAN to go to another country to criticize America, but not okay for an ENTERTAINER to do so?
Curious set of values you have there.

Perry's...
More illiteracy.

There's more text from the speech at NRO if you illiterates care to try and read some big words like Tibet...
If you could type, you would be lying.no DUMMY, the difference is
Palin mentioned policy
the D Chix said they were ashamed to ba Americans
Not that YOU would get it![]()
It's perfectly okay for Obama to go to Germany and Egypt to criticize America.
He's the official spokesperson for America, dumbass.
If you could type, you would be lying.
The Dixie Chicks didn't say that they were ashamed to be Americans.
Not that YOU could see the difference.
If everyone ignored the ignorant bitch then she might go away.
He's the official spokesperson for America, dumbass.
Obama the candidate said stuff like this in Berlin before he was official spokesman:
"The two superpowers that faced each other across the wall of this city came too close too often to destroying all we have built and all that we love."
"know my country has not perfected itself. At times, we've struggled to keep the promise of liberty and equality for all of our people. We've made our share of mistakes, and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions. "
As well as some more subtle references to immigration, income inequity, and other topics.
If you could type, you would be lying.
The Dixie Chicks didn't say that they were ashamed to be Americans.
Not that YOU could see the difference.
What makes it bad in your view? You say "apparently this was bad", then follow it with "my remark was disrespectful" as the reason for the apology.Fair enough. Here's what they (well, Natalie Maines) did say, though:
'Just so you know, we’re on the good side with y’all. We do not want this war, this violence, and we’re ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas."
" I feel the President is ignoring the opinions of many in the U.S. and alienating the rest of the world."
And apparently this was bad, because this apology followed:
'As a concerned American citizen, I apologize to President Bush because my remark was disrespectful. I feel that whoever holds that office should be treated with the utmost respect. We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war. While war may remain a viable option, as a mother, I just want to see every possible alternative exhausted before children and American soldiers' lives are lost. I love my country. I am a proud American."
What makes it bad in your view? You say "apparently this was bad", then follow it with "my remark was disrespectful" as the reason for the apology.
Now if you said, "apparently this was disrespectful," I could agree with you. "Bad" I don't see.
If everyone ignored the ignorant bitch then she might go away.
"She's bright."
Unlike Professor Obama's students...
Seriously, why does anyone care?
If she was in office then it might matter but she's not so any criticism of her just for saying it is contrary to free speech that everyone here claims they support.
Criticism of the words themselves is ok but just saying that she's wrong for speaking her mind is hypocritical.
Mrs. Palin took one of Professor busybody's classes Pass/Fail. But busybody gave her a "too Dumz" for a grade. She's still pissed.
If everyone ignored the ignorant bitch then she might go away.
Wait a minute...I thought busybody taught Remedial Feminine Hygiene?
