Trump border czar says the UK is no longer ‘a friend’

Border czar Tom Homan ignited a diplomatic firestorm by declaring that the U.K. is no longer a “friend of this country.” His comment followed reports that Britain suspended a key intelligence channel over concerns about U.S. airstrikes on suspected drug-trafficking boats in the Caribbean. The Trump administration has defended recent strikes on boats labeled as narcotics-smuggling vessels in the Caribbean, insisting they are part of a broader effort to target “foreign terrorist groups.” According to reports, the operations have resulted in more than 80 deaths. According to CNN, the U.K. deemed the strikes “illegal” and halted intelligence sharing to avoid being “complicit.”

When asked about the intelligence freeze, Homan distanced Washington from London. “I don’t think the U.K. is a friend of this country, a friend of the president,” he said, adding that questions about intelligence cooperation are “out of my lane.” His remarks came despite decades of coordination in the Caribbean, where British intelligence has long supported the U.S. Coast Guard. The rift has widened beyond the U.K. Canada has told Washington it does not want its intelligence used to select lethal maritime targets, though it has not suspended cooperation.

CNN reporters Pamela Brown and Wolf Blitzer noted they could not recall another instance of Britain halting intelligence sharing over concerns the U.S. was violating international law. The growing resistance suggests mounting pressure on the Trump administration to defend the legality of its Caribbean operations.

Conversely, the majority of Brits no longer see the US as an ally to the UK, according to a new poll conducted in the wake of Donald Trump’s tariffs. And, according to pollsters at More in Common, just 43% of Britons now see the US as an ally compared to 49% a month ago. More people now see the US as neither an ally nor an enemy, up from 30% to 34% over the last four weeks. Meanwhile, the number of Brits who actively see America as “enemies of the UK” has almost doubled – up from 8% in March to 15% in April. The proportion of people who said they did not know how they saw the US has dropped from 13% to 8%. In contrast 71% say Canada is an ally, and 61% France. France, FFS!!!!

Well, I guess Trump really does want the USA to go it alone. Yu have to ask yourself what more could he do to fuck us up, but it's probabkt better not to ask.

You are very correct Britain's government and the filthy monarchy are not our "friends or allies"..... nor is Europe, they entire European union view the good citizens of America as a host for their parasitic nurturing similar to a tape worm.
We should have stayed out of the European theatre in WW2.

Trump is not “taking America alone.” He’s doing what every president does: asserting U.S. interests first, forcing allies to carry their share of the security load, and refusing to let foreign governments dictate American military operations. That’s not isolationism, that’s sovereignty. If someone wants to argue that the U.S. should stop interdicting deadly narcotics because Britain is nervous about legal exposure, that’s their prerogative. But let’s not dress it up as the end of an alliance. The special relationship survives disagreements far bigger than this, and it will survive this one too.

Border czar Tom Homan <snip>
Stopped reading there.
Tommy Boy Homan brings nothing of importance to the table.

Remember when he said he was going to Boston "and bringing HELL with him" because Boston refused to help the Federal Government conduct ethnic cleansing there back in February?

American faggots are going to realize that nobody is America's friend. Friends can be trusted, friends can be relied upon and friends don't rape children like Americans love to do.

Negative, all the fags think everyone is friendly we need open borders and to let the jihadis and commies in to rape the kids.

Real Americans are in the process of getting those faggots out of our society :D making America great again!! (y)(y):ROFLMAO:

Absolutely true, but surely that is not 'news'.

America under Trump has no friends.

Following his targeted use of tariffs there is even an island full of penguins who would give any American they could get their little flappy wings on a thorough 'beaking' given half a chance.
