When did you know there was such a thing?

Do you think we are deviants? Crazy? Scary? We have thick skin so don't hold back.

What if your non-bdsm partner wanted to try it? Would you?
(We call those people vanilla. Some people find that offensive but I don't think it is. It doesn't mean we think your sex life is boring)

Did you know the How To forum gave birth to the bdsm forum?

Yep, It all started here with one big thread we called the mega or monster thread. From that, we got our own forum. It was 55 pages long.

When I first got my hands inside a female shirt.

Depends on the peer group, depends on the person, depends on the activity.

I wouldn't just want to; I would insist.

I don't call people vanilla. I say "non-kinky." Too many people use the former as a pejorative for me to be comfortable with it.

No, and I don't particularly care.

55 pages - pffft! Hillary's up to 267.

what will they think of us here?
while i can't speak for anybody else, it makes me think that you're active members of an active forum, for my part.

Nice to meet you, SW. Interesting contrast between your av and username.

I was just goofin' around with WD. The Word Association thread is a mindless word game, and 2,234 pages is sorta embarrassing, if you look at it that way.

likewise, j. :>

i've seen word association threads before and that's certain one of the longest-running i can recall seeing.

hang around long enough and you'll see why i employ that particular av. :>

I began learning about it from two good friends that I met here. I've done a lot of reading on the BDSM board.

If I thought you were deviant, then I would have to consider myself a deviant. Some of it is scary. Scary but fascinating.

If my non-bdsm partner wanted to try it I would fall down in a dead faint from shock. When I came to, I would jump for joy. He is vanilla, and it IS boring.

No, I didn't know that.

I don't know that it is boring. I was never bored during sex. The bad thing about using vanilla is the connotation that vanilla is boring.

I blame Anne Rice. :D I was reading her Mayfair Witches series and some one told me she wrote erotica. I picked up the Beauty trilogy and was introduced to a whole new world.

I don't think people who engage in BDSM are deviants. Most of ya seem pretty cognizant of what you like and are not afraid to embrace it. Some of the activities do seem a little....intense, but as long as the participants are happy then who am I to judge?

If my non-kinky partner wanted to try, my reaction would be similar to BG's. Would I try it - does the phrase "duck on a June bug" mean anything to you?

Wait, I thought it was the other way 'round. Don't be confusing me now!

I lurked at Lit for ages before I officially joined, so I remember that thread--it was probably my "official" introduction to BDSM.

My best friend picked up the Beauty trilogy because she was a huge Anne Rice fan. She's a virgin, so you can imagine how freaked out she was! :D

Oh, lawd! *laughs* Yeah, I have to say I was pretty naive prior to reading that series.

I knew I liked you for a reason. :D

People who know nothing of my lifestyle would think I'm a perfectly normal, shy, rather quiet person. But I am a submissive and probably always have been.

I like my sex kinky and love to be dominated in the bedroom, however I also serve my Dom/Husband outside that area as His carer. I have tattoos (which can be hidden if necessary) and I wear a silver padlock on a chain as a collar, as well as wedding/engagement rings.

Sir and I have been together now for over 5 years. How well I remember that first spanking and how weirded out I was that I had enjoyed it! It's taken a lot of thinking and mental processing for me to accept myself as a kinky submissive woman. I'm lucky that I found a caring Dom who has guided me through so many new experiences.

When we met here on Lit, all I knew about BDSM was the whips and chains and bondage stuff. I didn't have a clue that there was so much more to it  The best thing is, I feel whole now. I'm loved and in love, happy and fulfilled, and the 45 years of my life before Sir feel like another person's life.

I think Writerdom is deviant and crazy does that count? :p

NaNoWriMo and DeviantArt. I, er, went into the erotica writing section and read around a bit which got me a little bit down the direction of knowing what BDSM was, and then it was finished with DeviantArt. They had an ad for CollarFactory, I forum lurked and found a thread about collarings, which led me to MyDungeonSpace, I think it was... after that, I was hooked and took a creepy interest in bondage and submission/domination, and that eventually led me here.

Crazy? I think I'M crazy.

Try it? Yeah, I would, and my so-called non-bdsm partner knows I take a slight interest in "deviant" stuff and he does too, we just haven't tried anything yet.

Funny thing about spankings. If you think you might like one, you probably will.

Oh poor show poor show. :p

You were supposed to come up with a witty counter, sheesh.
