I can't believe this didn't come up in highschool English, but here's my question for you:

Is "came" the past tense of "to cum"? Also, I always think of "cum" as ejaculate (the noun or the verb), so can a woman do it (only if she squirts?)? Or does she "come"? (I'm thinking I've circumvented this by using "finish"/"finished" too many times).

Thanks for your expertise!

Most here tend to use "cum" only for the fluid, going with "come" for the verb. It's a little odd at first, but you get used to it, and it's actually a lot easier to deal with than trying to figure out what some odd tense of "cum" should be :D

No one is going to convince me that "cummed" should be a word. :p

I like that approach. Thanks.

I use "Come" for the verb, and about a dozen other things for the fluid-- seed, spunk, and spending mostly, 'cause I'm amused by those older words:)

I actually use a lot of other things, too. Seed, cream, etc. Depends upon how smutty the story is. I've even used 'splooge' once, though that was in a mostly humor story, and fit the character perfectly :D

Splooge?

Is that Ebenezer's sex-obsessed brother Randy?

Judging from the title, I was really hoping this thread was going to be about a very interesting swap meet.

Why shouldn't "Cummed" be a word?

I didn't know the words so I hummed the tune.

He was out of cigarets, so he bummed one from me.

I was nervous, and drummed my fingers.

Society folks once slummed in the ghetto.

You can probably come up with others if you try.

Having said that, I use "cum" for both climax and the fluid produced. If I need to use the past tense, I use a past perfect tense (had cum) or climaxed or had an orgasm or other form.

I think that when I see "cummed" I think "I kiked down the door and cummed in her face." That's why I don't use it.

Given the title, it's a little embarassing that I was ambiguous. That said, I'll trade grammar advice for smut ;).

Why shouldn't "Cummed" be a word?

Well, I guess what I meant is it's not my voice. It just sounds so incorrect to me! I may as well try to say "she screwed good".

That would be out of place here. You should say: "She fucked good."

You simply cannot shake ingrained, elementary school programming.

Come Dick, come! Come, Jane, too! See Dick and Jane come.

Dick came. Jane will come soon. Jane is coming with Spot. Dick has come.

Aah, sweet memories!

Never mind that you are an adult now, and that you know cum and come are two completely different words. You can intellectualize the justifications and the possibilities all you want. But if "Dick cummed" wasn't explicitly written in your first grade reader, then you will never embrace cummed as an acceptable conjugation for cum.

Never.
