sympathy for my left-hand little finger

Which really deserves a better person to be attached to.

I sliced it open this afternoon, and severed the flexor tendon, the one that lets it curl inward. I have an appointment for surgery, monday morning... They said to expect an eight-hour wait.

One moment of inattention around power tools, my friends; let this be a reminder to us all :(
oh damned, Im sorry and...I really feel for you. I had reconstruction for my right index finger earlier this year. Good luck with your surgery and recovery.

Best of luck on your surgery, Stella.

Never play with power tools... unless it's juggling chainsaws, that just has to be done. :p

Let's be glad it was the pinky finger instead of the wrist. Surgery isn't fun but it's better than the alternative. Best wishes.

Och:eek:

Sorry to hear about that. Will add you to my payers that all goes well and the wait is short.

ouchhhhhhhhhhh! This doesn't sound like one I can kiss and make better! :( But here's one anyway...

Stella, it should be simple and smooth. I cut the tendon that straightens the left index finger in 74. Doc sewed it up in the ER and put it in a splint for 4 weeks. No trouble at all in 34 years. :D
Good luck :rose:

:rose:Geez, Stella, sounds painful. Hope it all goes smoothly. Wishing you well.

Stella! OW!!!
praying for the best.

I know that was a wake up call..but... I'll say it too... "please be careful!"

(coming from mister stupid)

My brother, who lost a finger and a half to a die grinder and carelessness, asked the surgeon in the ER if he would be able to play the violin after surgery. The Doctor was sharp enough to ask if he played before the accident.:D Whoops! HE was caught being a wise guy.

Hope it's gone ok, Stella. Get well soon :rose:

And if it's your masturbation hand, I'm sending you big sympathy hugs

:D

My husband did the same thing to the ER folk when he was getting stitches in his hand (except it was piano).

After, the nurse smacked him and laughed.

Stella - hope things are going well.

I just got off the phone with Stella. She's still at the hospital and is being sent for a third set of X-Rays. No, they didn't explain why. It's beginning to look as though they're going to ask her to stay overnight.

Aww....I hope she's going to be all right.......saying a prayer...:rose:

Damn, Stella. Where are you when I come lookin' for ya?

I do hope all went well with the repair of your finger. Power tools are not very forgiving.

A little news snippet stimulated a thought (since you do occasionally suggest that I have a fixation on the subject of the theory of anthropogenic global warming or its newly morphed appellation, "climate change"). Ol' Boone Pickens is in the process of constructing a 4,000 megawatt windfarm (to the tune of $10,000,000,000) in the Texas panhandle.

In an interview today, Boone stated that the "wind alley" which extends from the Canadian border all the way down to the panhandle could support the construction of 400,000,000 megawatts worth of wind generators. Now, my question to you is this: Do you think James Hansen and the boys from NOAA have plugged the potential effect of all that dimunition of the prevailing wind into their computer climate models?

I'm sure she will. However, I suspect that by the time she gets back, nobody better cross her! We artistic sorts don't deal well with frustration.

Kisses and hugs to her.

Better yet, how about that pussy sucking thing she was talking about the other day.

Oh dear. One Stella with the mood of a grizzly coming up.

she is right handed, no?
She needs paper and pencil, if not laptop... and write about an erotic hospital adventure. AND/ or a round of kinky bingo.
