"Outright small boobs" aren't realistic? Who told you that lie?

Don't over analyze it. Picture the character in your mind as you immediately think of her and you've got it. Breasts are as big as you want them to be and as big as they need to be for the character. They don't always have to be ginormous pontoons, as amazing as it may be for some people who know me well here will see me saying.

Anything else - go for realism. Write what you're comfortable writing about There are plenty of busty gals around. Just make yours is believable is all I'm saying.

Most of the characters in my stories have large breasts...that's just they way I envision them in my mind. Some of my stories though feature women with significantly smaller breasts. Before I write my story, I usually have some sort of picture of the characters in my mind.

Don't go there, just don't. For Heaven's sake don't give a cup size or you will catch Hell for it. I don't care what the Author's Guidelines say, I followed them the first couple of stories and got completely stepped on for it. No Cup Sizes, None!!!

Go for the color, the texture, the shape and size of the nipples, the taste. Give the reader credit for knowing what a boob looks like and let the imagination carry them forward. It will be okay, really it will.

I think you're right.. when I just describe breasts as perky or firm or large or huge...and so on, I find that's all the description that I need. Everytime I try to narrow it down by cup size or object relation (orange sized for example) it comes off un realistic and I also get blasted for it by my readers! ....just sayin.
