So what do you think of Russ Meyer films?

I know the gay room's an odd place for a question like this but it's the only place on Lit I feel comfortable posting. And most guys here seem to be mostly straight anyway. So...

I've always wanted to see a Russ Meyer film because they're notorious for being, well... full on tit worship films. And my god I like the boobies. I think I'm a breast fetishist like he was. So imagine my excitement when I get hold of Vixen, supposedly his hottest one ever. I didn't expect there to be much in the way of sex but I thought it'd be wall to wall titties... big bouncy titties all the way through it. It's a good thing I'm used to life's crushing disappointments. It was awful. Hardly any boobage action. Sure there was some, but not enough to get excited about. If they'd put half as much focus on boobs as they did cringe-inducing acting and dialog it would have been great.

So is the legend of Russ Meyer just one of those things that's been blown all out of proportion? Or did I see an edited copy? Or can anything in reality ever match up to my idea of a tit film? Has anyone seen most of his films and can say another one is better? Or recommend just a good sex romp tittie film?
