I'd be more interested in Jamie Lynn Britney's to be honest!
Maybe the sisters had a tryst?
Interesting... Good story idea...

Er, what?![]()
Ummmm guessing ugh can't recall her name...some rockers daughter
I agree though. Memoirs at 15 years old?![]()
How old was Anne Frank when the pen dropped? Fifteen, right? (Although there are those who said her father wrote it.)
Face it guys, we are not the demographic!![]()
It's Hannah Montana, for pete's sake!
Perfect for 4th and 5th grade girls.
What the hell, it'll promote reading at the elementary school level.

Exactly. Although I suspect we're about two minutes away from a Vanessa Hudgeons/Jamie Lynn Spears scandal, at the moment this girl is a great example of someone succeeding because they put their energy into something other than video games and partying. That's a good message, even if we're calling her Mylie-Lo in ten years.Lindsay Lohan reference for anyone disinterested in celebrity pop culture.
Never heard of Millie. (scrolls back) Oops, Miley.
Billy Ray Cyrus? Wasn't he famour for ripping off someone else's song and making a squillion with it? Or am I getting my one-hit country wonders mixed up?

I just asked my 15 year old daughter who Miley Cyrus was and she didn't know. I mentioned Hannah Montana and she said "OHhhh, her. Yeah she's real big in the US".I was only vaguely aware of her real name, too.
But I'd certainly heard of Hannah Montana.

So, nope, she's not such a big deal here.
And you know this book, which will certainly be overprinted to the detriment of Brazilian rainforest trees, will have untold and unSOLD reams of it discounted and piled in pyramids in countless Barnes & Nobles, Waldenbooks, Borders, etc...Well, 'Thirteen' was a very well received book and movie, and that was based on a girl's experiences as a 13 year old. Are we saying the only time a book is interesting is when it deals with sex & drugs (especially among underage girls)? While this is going to be an enormous sugar-fest, Cyrus does have a very interesting story (the death of her mother, her father's fame, getting into music, television, then the biggest tour of any artist in 2007). I'd say that is certainly enough to fill a book.
Yeah, but...ugggggh...it's just primer for a lifetime addiction to US Magazine and Life&Style and their ilk...which pretty much will say the same thing in a ONE PAGE article on the same person that this book will in maybe two or three hundred!Face it guys, we are not the demographic!![]()
You know, I didn't think of that silver lining. Hmm. Ah, well...as The Borg used to say, resistance is futile! What the hell, it'll promote reading at the elementary school level.

There is a difference. Ann Frank wrote a diary, never intended for publication. The contents of it show the inhumanity of man, and how some people suffered under the Nazis. Miley Cyrus has basically had a very easy life and doesn't really have much to say.
I'd wager she's already lived a more interesting life than thee and me together.
Just wait for it and watch how fast the books fly off the shelf. That pretty much put "get stuffed" to the idea that no one thinks she has enough to say to justify the cost of the book.
Not that I'm a fan by any means. I'm just amused by what people assume will/should sell against what actually does sell.
