I have learned that riding my bike is addictive.

I have relearned that my wife is one hell of a trooper.

I have learned that injecting a 3 inch thick Sirloin Steak with Honey Garlic Marinade, letting said steak sit covered in the fridge for 24 hours then grilling for 5 minutes per side means an absolutely perfect Steak.

I have learned that the part to fix my bike is going to cost me $208.00. (A one inch thick, four inches long and three inches tall Rectifier.)

I have learned that marinating cubes of Beef in sweetened Jerk Sauce for 24 hours before grilling them as Kebabs not only drives the neighbors insane but also makes for a great dinner.

I have learned that my body doesn't like the Yeast in beer. (You don't want to know the reaction.)

I have learned once again that when my wife is sick I'm not happy.

So what have you learned this week?

Cat

I've learned that, no matter how strong a person is, they can still have moments of weakness.

I've learned that friends are indispensible (well, I already knew that; it was just reaffirmed).

I've learned that someone I once had feelings for is moving on, and I'm glad for that.

And I've learned that there's always hope. :)

Yeah, I knew that one, too. ;)

I've learned a little bit about picking myself when I'm unhappy instead of letting it drag me down into the abyss. It's getting easier every time.

I've learned that dehydration is the enemy.

and

I've learned that I want to know more about the idea of Tao.

I've learned that my daughter, just barely a teenager, is beginning to pull away, becoming more independent each day. And that she has a remarkable sense of humor.

I've learned that my young son, my baby, is going to be every bit as tall as the doctor suggested at his two year check. And that he will eventually fill out his big shoulders and grow tall enough to match those long feet. Taller than hubby, it seems. Quarterbacks beware, a lineman has been born.

I've reaffirmed that my husband is a fair and wonderful person for supporting me in my writing and in my Litogether endeavors.

I've learned that I need sunlight. That I will shrivel up if I do not very soon feel the heat and light upon my face.

I've learned that I'm nowhere near as strong as I want to be ... and need to be.

I have learned that it's always my fault.

I have learned "I love you" are three meaningless words.

I have learned it is time to step back.

I've learned that I'm nowhere near as strong as I want to be ... and need to be.

ive learned that i drool over imp's av way too much....
Ive learned that I can do just about anything!
I've learned that my communication skills are aggressive, tend to target people, and or get them angry..

I've learned that i am way to negative......................

I've learned that I absolutely enjoy being right about some things, and I shamelessly gloat. :D

I've learned, once more, that when you take the bull by the horns, the horns sometimes simply fall off the stupid damn animal. Why can't I get that lesson to stick?

I've learned how to make a pair of 17th century breeches.

Because, otherwise, you'd never grab the horns again. :p

I've learned that I'm infatuated. ;)

I hope that's a good thing.

I've learned that letting my husband do DIY leads to paying the plumber extra to fix it.

I've learned to never, ever let the hubs "go over" the taxes again because I don't have the patience to explain taxese to him.

I've learned that whenever my daughter runs from the room screaming while watching a movie it usually means she has a bit of a crush on one of the actors. I simultaneously learned that the appeal of a bald men is apparently genetic. If there were a way to create a time loop so that Yul Brenner, Patrick Stewart, and Telly Savalas appeared on film together the female portion of my family might spontaneously combust.

I've learned that eating daily is probably a good thing.

And I've learned that I am not my own harshest critic. That honor goes to random internet trolls.

I learned that my students give great (and funny) unsolicited dating advice.

I learned how empty pretty words can be (actually I knew that, just got reminded).

I learned that it amuses me when things that never really existed are presented as if they had.

I learned that my first assessment of people is usually accurate.

I learned that I can still be thoroughly unforgiving.

I learned that a lot more people than I thought admire me.

I learned that sometimes, two steps back can set the stage for a leap forward.

Infatuation, yay! enjoy!

The horns falling off is a good thing-- a very, very good thing. It means the bastard won't gore me or my business.

I learned that I can keep my gambling problem under check when playing poker in a casino.

I've learned that its never too late for a dying relationship to be saved. And sometimes will rise out of ashes...
I've learned that you never know how or when you will find a friend.
I've learned that my children are growing into incredible young adults.
I've learned that I can be an bitch and an idiot and still be loved.
I've learned, just like solomon - He who increases his knowledge, increases his sorrow. For in his learning he finds he will never know enough.

I've learned that I'm nowhere near as strong as I want to be ... and need to be.

You are strong when you need to be, for you and for others.

We all have weak times, even you. Don't be so hard on yourself.

:rose::kiss::heart:

I have learned that Hello KItty mania is insane.

I have also learned I think everyone is a serial killer in disguise >.>

I have also learned... sometimes it helps to talk to the brother of the friend rather than the friend himself...

I have learned that I really hate Heathrow.

Og

Oh hell yeah!!!

I'm with you.

Airports are unfortunately a necessary part of our lives, and we both HATE them....so much. But not as much as the 8, 9, 10 hour flights that we undertake. *sigh*.

"Beam me up, Scotty."

I've learned that Starrkers needs a hug. *hugs*

I've learned (the hard way) that I HAVE to put my health first now

I re-learned how much I HATE hospitals

I have learned "I love you" are three meaningless words.

I have learned it is time to step back.

Sadly, I think I've learned these two things this week too. :( :rose:

I've learned that I can put everything personal on hold just to be able to do my job.

I've learned that doing that makes the emotions related to those things overwhelming when I do let them out.

I've learned that anybody can sell things door-to-door as long as they've got products that will sell themselves.

I've learned that I can be better than the best when I try my hardest.

I've learned that a good cry only makes me feel dead inside, not better.
