There is no "control" being exerted in the GB. Its a huge play pen for idiots. Myself included of course.

I wish I could answer that question... Some forums don't even have moderators. I believe that's the case with the Author's Hangout forum and believe me recently it's been like the GB over there, but then again, it's been like that over here on the Playgrounders recently too.

honestly I stay away from there - far far away...but once in awhile they venture over here trying to stir shit up - funny thing is now is that it really isn't them stirring the pot, but actually PG users.....guess they wanna be like the GB idiots or something

well the PG has actually settled down a little from the thread wars last month....it's more in private and behind the scenes now with the once in awhile post of someone did this or that....crazy

Exactly. I use the PG mostly for a post count. The GB is very entertaining to me.

You know... this is what confuses me. A PMer will go through the trouble of spelling words such as "stunning" (a hard word for those who use messaging logo)... or even "think" (which they don't do) and yet they can't type "your" (granted it should be you're) "to" or "you". Nor can they capitalize "Wow" or "I".

I have a hard time shortening my IM messages. I do use the "lol" a lot (I learned tonight that a lot is two words not one. I may have to try and use that word a lot more to ingrain it into my subconscious.)

I have to force myself to write "brb"; I usually type out the whole. Be right back and then I think, I bet they think I'm stupid for typing all that out. lol <<<< see.

And ok... I 99.9% of the time write okay and only once in a blue moon use "k" (that is usually when I am multi-tasking and chatting at the same time. Though brb pops up if I have to pee really bad.

But alas, what a wonderful surprise to find a the leading title was nothing more than a light heated teasing in response to a post I made. Followed by a kind compliment about my wit.

Was, in a word, refreshing.
