What are we all writing right now?

I’m still working on my story about the time traveler, but I’m stuck at around 70,000 words. My motivation’s a bit gone at the moment. :(
I do still write quite a lot, mostly blogs on a Dutch website for cancer patients, where I talk about my daily life with cancer.

But that’s not why I got stuck with my story. It’s more that I’ve written myself into a corner, and I’ve been juggling several ideas in my head to find a way back onto the right path without having to rewrite a large part of the story.

I'm finally getting my motivation back! For a while, I've been tinkering with a story about a young couple who can't get pregnant because of issues with the husband. Events conspire to reunite her with an older man whom she had a crush on ten years earlier. Well, you know how it ends. Can't give more details and ruin the story!

Currently working on the story of my recurring character Lisa’s first celebrity hookups. James Franco, Charlize Theron, and Drew Barrymore. At least one of these relationships will not last.

Have your characters gone off in their own direction? That happens to me more often than I'd care to admit. Sometimes you have to give them their head and see where it goes.

Another attempt to write an awful narrator: his female friend runs a matchmaking service and lets him tag along for the in-person meet-ups. He uses them to hook up with the women when they can't find the right match. His friend is aware, of course. Not sure where it's going, but I'm excited to be writing basic smut again.

We're excited you're writing smut again too!

Spent all of 45 minutes writing and submitting a very short (1,000) story this morning, as a break from my Unfinished Masterpiece, which I have yet to start.

Congratulations on being published! To make it easier for people to find your story(ies), you may want to add a link to them in your forum profile. For you, this is the link: https://www.literotica.com/authors/CharlotteKurai/works/stories

I was curious about one point: you described the girl’s phone in great detail (iPhone Pro Max in violet). Normally, if clothes/cars/devices are mentioned by brand, it’s to help establish the character’s nature/motivation, or it plays a part in the story. Was there a specific reason you described the phone in such detail?

I actually I love describing thinks about my characters, I am thinking about the first chapter, to give Aaliyah and Kouei the decent plot.

I always held Taboo/Incest as kind of a nonstarter, but a long time ago I started a story about a college-age guy whose life kind of falls apart and he ends up going to live with an estranged step sister and her several roommates. It was always intended to be sort of a bounce back/sexual re-awakening type story, as he ends up having some escapades with one -- or many? -- of the roommates. But as I wrote it the sexual tension that kind of wouldn't stop slipping in was with the step sister.

The story is long and unwieldy and I keep trying/wanting/needing to walk away from it. I even cannibalized some of it for my Summer Lovin entry (also T/I step sibling stuff, go figure), and thought that was that. But I didn't cannibalize the character, and she keeps pulling me back.

At this point I'm in exorcism mode. I need to just write the damn thing, and finish it, so I can get it out of my head and move on to something else.

I think I'm actually coming close. We'll see -- I'll believe it when I see it.
