Parts of five days, and one night. I was having to be a bit circumspect because I don't think my parents or in-laws would understand. They thought I was visiting different old friends, not just the one.

To clarify, the partial days included evenings too. The one night was an overnight visit.

Her ex husband did kinda mess up one of the evenings, however. He brought her kids home unexpectedly. Then he kept suggesting that he would take them to his mom's so the three of us could have some fun. That did not happen, so she had her kids that evening. Not a big deal. We made up for it the next day.

That's a big part of her drama, however. I got the impression they still fuck despite clearly hating each other. And they are too fucking involved in each other's lives. Oh, and her drinking (she had told me about a month ago she had quite AA and started drinking again, but she really downplayed it) is a lot because of him, I think. But she did tell me she wants to go back to AA... I just did not see evidence of that.

Nope. I knew I wasn't going to have to time. Also, he was from the east coast, so I didn't see any later when I might want it.

It's not that they are her type. She is apparently their type. I told Misty about this, and she wasn't surprised. She said a lot of older guys will go for curvier younger women (younger than the guys, anyway), because they are attracted to the younger part but figure they might have better luck with curvier women. I don't know about that, but Misty has more experience with what a wider range of men (age wise) like than I do.

I turned 38 a bit more than a week ago, and I've been on and off down because I can't credibly claim to be in my mid-30s anymore.

But this weekend, I hit a milestone in my fitness journey by doing a max bench press of 120 lb. It's the most I've ever lifted, and it's almost my current bodyweight (I gained a few pounds on my trip to Vegas, and they are being stubborn , so I'm at 122 currently), so yay! I'm not dwelling on the fact it would have been almost two pounds more than my body weight had I done it before my vacation.

Anyway, being in the best shape of my life, and the strongest I've ever been, somewhat offsets edging closer to 40... Or so I'm telling myself.

In other news, the Misty chaos tour is in full swing. Her roommate, Beth, who is also my boss/someday business partner in real estate, told her she needs to find a new place to live after Misty tried to fuck the new guy Beth's dating. Misty said Beth's blowing it out of proportion and she was just flirting for the fun of it.

But based on what they both told me, I'm kinda with Beth. Misty doesn't like men much, and is only occasionally sexually attracted to them, but I've seen her go after a guy just because she wants to see how much chaos she can cause. I guess Beth's also been on her about not living up to what she told Beth she was wanting to do with her life when Beth let her move in. So I think there a revenge element too. Oh, and Misty's ego... she tends to think she can take almost any person she wants.

I'd worry about her friendship with Hubby, but I know she truly likes and respects him. I think he's one of the few men she feels that way about. Besides, even if I really pissed her off, she wouldn't go after him. She'd go after Paula and then taunt me with that she got someone I couldn't.

Anyway, she's looking for a place to stay, and I told her no. She didn't seem surprised or upset. She did mention going to Vegas and seeing if my FIL had someplace he could put her up. I think she was kidding. But she's said before if she keeps stripping, that's the place to be. And I know she like my FIL, so, maybe that really is her plan.

I have a question for the guys. My tenth wedding anniversary is coming up. Fuck, it seems like yesterday in some ways and like I've always been married in others. Anyway, I'm struggling with what to get him. He says he wants parts for his old Bronco, but that feels wrong for ten years. I mean, I'll get the parts, but I want to do more. And don't say sex. He gets more than he wants.

Anyway, would a nice watch be a good surprise? He has some pretty nice ones he wears, but I'm thinking really nice (but not Rolex nice... twins cost a fucking ton of money... ) might be a good surprise. He would never buy himself a watch that costs more than $300 (his most expensive). Plus, I understand I might be able to get a good deal on a watch when I am on my cruise.

But all the ever wants is practical stuff (well, in this case practical it you have an old vehicle you are modernizing). I want to get him something he likes but would never splurge on for himself.

Here's my problem. I know I'm getting a ring or a necklace or earrings or some kind of jewelry, and I know it won't be cheap because it never is. But all the ever wants is practical stuff (well, in this case practical it you have an old vehicle you are modernizing). I want to get him something he likes but would never splurge on for himself.

That's why a hobby gift or something like the skydiving ideas work best. Allows experimenting without lots of commitment.

My wife got me a flying lesson one year. Helped me realize id be a horrible pilot.

But practical is good too. You both know he wants it and will use it.
