Yes! We saw a few too!And little black squirrels. I had never seen little black squirrels before until I went there.
You know it!Better'n Ginger!!!
I know. I’m always telling Mrs wonderer stuff like that to make her laugh!Fucking so not true.
Sounds like a great day!Good morning diners. My plan is simple: sip coffee, walk old dog, laundry and football.
She is a ladder climbing ass kissing easily triggered red haired kiss ass witchI'm always amazed at companies that do not recognize and grow those with leadership potential. Your boss's boss sounds like an insecure person.
Pretty good. I worked and then took dad to dialysisband mom to the grocery. This weekend is cooking weekend for dad. I have been looking up recipes for himHey, girl! Did you have a good Friday?
No took off bp meds and i am making sure he drinks at top of 1500 fluid restriction. It is toughIs he on anything for his BP? Is he on decreased liquids? He may just need more volume.
This is good to know. I’m sure it’s probably a difficult film to watch. Finally got the medical nonsense taken care of yesterday. Momma’s squared away and doc said she may only need two radiation treatments rather than three. Either way, she has one more CT scan to pinpoint the exact area with die then gets zapped.
SWMBO came down w a bug so she’s out of commission for the weekend…
Watched Control last night…biographic film on Ian Curtis of Joy Division. Based on his widows book. It was a good film but sad. Always loved Joy Div and I contend. for my money, New Order is the best of that whole post punk genre.
Everyone have a great Saturday! Old Country MZ——

2 legged and 4A spiffy new rifle in a new caliber and a case of ammo for it. Varmints beware.
I was about to get all excited for you then I read the meme!![]()
Welcome Home. Glad you had a great trip. The pics and vids you shared were awesome!Just got home. 1200 miles and 28 hrs of driving time over 6 days.
Really great trip.
I am wisdom-less!
AgreeFucking so not true.
His bp is low and now we are measuring urine output... he is peeing a lot
If I ever win a big lottery jackpot I could see myself being at least 50% sashimi... let's take our Antarctica trip before thenI'm not fish so they probably wouldn't think I was very tasty! I'm probably at least 50% chocolate!
40 years ago my mom threw a Christmas In July party... complete with Santa and full Christmas Decorations all over the house. Off. The. Hook. When I was still mailing them, my family used to have to wait for their Christmas presents until sometimes July. I'm such a procrastinator! I always thought it would be cool to get random presents wrapped in Christmas paper in the middle of summer!
Given where she is... she really shouldn't either.I miss her, too. I imagine she can't access this site where she is.
@nipplecaresser does not disappointI was expecting this from you!![]()
case in pointThat's why they call me the postman (mailman) because I always deliver!
all the way to Buffalo and to niagra falls
Niagara Falls is definitely on my bucket list! I love waterfalls!
We went once as part of a summer vacation trip. Like @Wonderer67 we were passing it along the way, so made a day of it. We crossed the border to the Canadian side - didn't need passports back in those days. Dad knew none of us kids or mom had ever been outside the US. Was a wonder at that young age hearing so many people speaking French - I loved it! Couldn't understand a word, but it was a novel experience. We visited the falls and spent so much time on the observation deck riveted by the falls... and the mist from the spray that was everpresent. I love that my dad gave us this experience!!I have been there several times. They are spectacular. I always saw them from the Canadian side.
Sounds spectacular! Can't wait to see photos when you have them.I've started working on my powder room painting project.
Mine's still just a tad too hot to drinkOh hell! It is time for my second cup! I almost forgot, the first one was sooooooooooooooooooo good.
Sounds lovely... trade?Good morning diners. My plan is simple: sip coffee, walk old dog, laundry and football.
They are a bit of a shock the first time you see them. And little black squirrels. I had never seen little black squirrels before until I went there.
That is disappointing. I know first-hand that Local Pronunciations don't always follow Proper Pronunciations. You always need to check in w/ the locals or look the fool.Tom mispronounced "Wilkes-Barre" on the Deadwood show. I was kinda disappointed. Hell, if I know, then everyone should know.
Yep - it's not just the cute furry animals that graze on tasty offerings. Trash pandas and more have a seat at that table, too.Or she's sharing, willingly or not, with possums-n-'coons.
I don't recall seeing any black squirrels when I lived a very short stretch from one of the Great Lakes... this was over 30 years ago thoughSome of them are native to the Great Lakes region.
Glad a deeper dive is being done for your mom. MRI with contrast is an excellent diagnostic tool IMO. The contrast dye can be a bit hard on some. For me, I always brought along a snack (i.e. green grapes or an apple). I often needed a little boost afterwards.Watched Control last night…biographic film on Ian Curtis of Joy Division. Sorry this is such a Good News / Bad News rollercoaster. Even though they're technically chores, I'm glad you have some time with them both. I don't miss the burden of caring for an aging parent, but I do miss those moments together doing simple chores or just chatting over coffee.Pretty good. I worked and then took dad to dialysisband mom to the grocery. This weekend is cooking weekend for dad. I have been looking up recipes for him
Absolutely! If I thought I would fall asleep, I would try for a short nap now. Think I'll need to power through until mid-afternoon though.Yawn

Kidding - my day won't be half bad but not as relaxing
Unless I get that nap!!
They are a bit of a shock the first time you see them.
We have a few around here... not a lot but enough that they're not totally uncommon either.
That is disappointing. I know first-hand that Local Pronunciations don't always follow Proper Pronunciations. You always need to check in w/ the locals or look the fool.

Sorry about the bug - the standard Back To School Crud is making the rounds again.
Gorgeous photo!!
New Order - was introduced the year I studied in Scotland. Learned about Joy Division later. Control answered so many questions - even ones I didn't know I had. Very sad though.
Substance is still one of my favorite albums
