The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I had a busy day today. I've started working on my powder room painting project. The walls are painted; I'm going to do some stenciling with a darker blue paint with glitter mixed in.

I have a floating shelf that was originally in my bathroom that's going in the powder room. The holder for it is a gold metal. I sanded it down today and sprayed two coats of primer on it. Tomorrow I will paint it the base wall color. The shelf is glass; I'm hoping it will look like it is virtually floating from the wall.

I also pulled weeds from the giant pots lined up by the driveway. They've sprung up fierce since I got the watering system done. I pulled enough weeds from the 7 pots to fill up my pink wheelbarrow!

I transplanted two bulb-type plants (IDK what they are) into a slightly smaller pot because I wanted to use the large pot they were in for eucalyptus that was part of a planting bucket a neighbor brought me last year. Everything else in the bucket died but, somehow, the eucalyptus is still alive. IDK how. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It's a good thing I decided to repot it. The pot it was in was one of those temporary tubs, kind of like a fiber. The bottom was completely gone!

Now, I just have to see if the eucalyptus will grow in its new home. I was going to take pictures but forgot. I'll take some tomorrow and post.

Have a good sleep, those of you stateside, to get ready for the weekend! Those of you in the old world have already started yours! 💝✨💖
Sounds super productive.

Love to see pics of the newly potted plant.

Thursday we poked around PA after our haunted house experience. Then went due north to Lake Erie. They went along the shoreline all the way to Buffalo and to niagra falls.

Was never a bucket list thing but it was super impressive!

I like this video of the false and if you look close enough, there are a bunch of Canadian geese just hanging out right on the edge of the falls!

Then we went about 2 1/2 hours east to visit a friend of mine from work near Rochester, New York.

Great day!
The falls are spectacular!

And little black squirrels. I had never seen little black squirrels before until I went there.

We drove 400 miles today. Checked out the Grand Canyon of NY state which was well worth it! Even more dramatic than the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania!

Then to the finger lakes. (I told Mrs wonderer if that means I could finger her… but alas it did not happen.😂)

We had awesome buckwheat pancakes in Penn Yan NY…

Then down they back roads to to Wilkes barre and then home.

Tom mispronounced "Wilkes-Barre" on the Deadwood show. I was kinda disappointed. Hell, if I know, then everyone should know.

What are you getting for your birthday? I hope you love it! 🎁

When I was still mailing them, my family used to have to wait for their Christmas presents until sometimes July. I'm such a procrastinator! I always thought it would be cool to get random presents wrapped in Christmas paper in the middle of summer! 😅😅

A spiffy new rifle in a new caliber and a case of ammo for it. Varmints beware.

I do too but it being such a tourist attraction sort of left it out there. But since we were only gonna be 100 miles away I figured why not.

It was actually very cool.

75,000 gallons a second go over those falls. It’s massive and the power of the water is amazing!

Maybe that’s where we should have our 2nd annual lit together!

Eh. Too many Canadians.

According to Dr. Tyler, TN has more waterfalls than any other state.
