Charlie Kirk was killed by a military-style ASSAULT WEAPON.

I'm not sure what the exact noun nomenclature was for the 30.06. With iron sights to adjust or zero that weapon wouldn't he need a scope, or time at a range with paper targets. With my bolt action I installed a redfield 3X9 variable and set it for 200 yards.

It could have been a head shot not compensating for bullet drop.

It's a terrible loss, I feel for his lovely wife and beautiful children.
Absolutely.

I have my 7mm Mag Elk rifle sighted in with a 300-yard zero, which with my reloads that's about 3.0 inches high at 100.

It’s truly hard for children to grow up without a father. When he began with Turning Point USA, he had nothing. The silver lining is that his hard work made him a multi-millionaire by the time of his passing, so his wife and kids are well provided for. Beyond that, the extensive network he built, the Rolodex I mentioned earlier, no doubt offers many opportunities for their future.

Not sure what the argument is here but it’s been my military experience, having been an expert marksman using both the M-14 and the M-16 let there be no doubt that an M-16 is deadly accurate at 200 yards. Wouldn’t try taking out a bear or a moose but the AR-15 will easily kill a human at 200 yards. IMHO
The furthest target on the M-16 qualification range is 300 meters. I plunked both of them when they popped up. That is 328 yards. But I could also zero three rounds in one hole. That was the beauty of the M-16. Very accurate and repeatable.

He was killed by a bolt action 30-06. Was military style about 75 years ago, now it's good for moose and apparently podcasters.

M-16 pop ups farthest were 300 meters. I agree. I remember in basic I scored perfect scores with both M-16 and M-14 for my record qual. I forget my night fire and NBC scores.

I put 3 rounds inside a dime at 25 meters. close enough.

Looks like pro Pantifa and pro trans inscriptions on rifle and shell casings.

What does this bring the tally up to for Tranny / pro-trans shooters? Radicalized democrats in the Death Cult strike again…
The bottoms of the bullet casings had TRN stamped into them.
TRN does not stand for "trans", it stands for Turan, a very popular bullet manufacturer.

A modern “truth-oriented fairness doctrine.” It would create a legal and ethical framework to ensure that information presented as fact is actually factual, especially on issues that shape democracy.
In which case we would never, ever hear from you again.

A criminal using a BOLT ACTION, high powered rifle. NOT an assault weapon.
I liked your post not because I necessarily agree. I don't care for the dismissive argument on the semantics of what is the end result of a pulled trigger, but because (on this subject matter, at least) you have shown the guts to step against the grain. Your RW brethren will probably attack you, again, but this time I hope you don't just say something like, "This is all I care to say" and walk away from discussion. I'm not dissing you, my 'like' is for wishful hope.

Turns out that the ammosexuals are not as knowledgeable as they pretend.

The bullets were supposed to be engraved with a political slogan, but were actually stamped on the base with the manufacturer's logo TRN. Which apparently (I don't pretend to know much about this level of minutiae) is one of the biggest suppliers of ammunition in the US and therefore the world.

Seriously? I did not know that.
A UK couple rented the other half of a duplex next to us, and went to dinner with another couple.

She stated "I could really go for some Chinky. " [British slang for Chinese food]. The other couple were agast at her saying this until she explained

Wait, you’re saying the claims about trans & antifa engravings on the shooter’s ammunition that was left behind are false???

🤔

IF that ^ is the case, then the law enforcement rep I watched on live TV disseminating that lie needs to be fired immediately.

🤬

How fucking irresponsible can a person in a position of authority be???

🤬

We. Told. Them. So.

M-14? M-14?

Didn't the military stop using the M-14 around 1965?

Christ, you're older than JustPlainJeff and might even be older than Ishmael.

How many gooks did you kill in the war? And which war was it? Korean or the Nam?

As a standard issue combat rifle, I believe that time period is correct. 65 to 67 is when the M-16 was replaced with the A-1 (forward assist).

I’m much younger than DMallard who did a tour.

During the period 71/72 my cycle at Ft Campbell KY was the last training cycle (boot camp) to train with both the M-14 and the M-16. We Qualified for record with both. The M-14 was still used as a sniper rifle. Later on at Ft.Lee, my AIT station our assigned weapon was the M-16-A1 or an M1911. I was never sent to Nam. We were pulling out troops big time. In 71 I was never drafted, my draft# was very high, I joined because my friend was drafted so we joined together and were lucky enough to stay together for 3 years, did my time and transferred into the NG and served as dual status full time technician.

I have the utmost respect for those who served in Vietnam. Most older friends I knew who came back from Nam strongly suggested to stay the hell out.

That was the M-21 system. Not very good and short lived. It was replaced by the M-24 system which is still in use, much modified, today.

Several media outlets, including the Guardian (which is left-wing), reported this.
They also reported the bullets had pro-trans and Antifa slogans etched on them, and we now know they didn't. Besides, you're talking about a community where what they call "leftist" could mean moderate Republicans for all we know.

I was never involved with sniper task. I trained for 3 weeks with the M-14 then qualified for record and never saw them again. I believe they turned them in for junk, sold them to some foreign nation.

I was with AMU, we shot everything that anyone made anywhere.
