Variations - Words edition...

Monsters
Under my bed and in
My closet. Those tricksters
Play upon fears within.
When darkness falls, they stir.
When they stir,
The air is brittle thin,
all of night is a-purr,
All of my mind a din,
And I, sliced by fear’s spurr.
I hide,
Blankets pulled to my chin.
Fears that won't be denied,
Battles waged from within
Only dawn ends the tide.

Now @ScarletDaisy and @NivKay appear to have got a room, it's probably a good time to change the theme 😉

This week, let's have some poems on the subject of

Family

And the form we'll use is a tricube.

Obviously, you all know what one of those is, but I'll remind everyone just in case anyone new accidentally stumbles in here...

A tricube has 3 stanzas
Each stanza has 3 lines
Each line has 3 syllables

And thats it. There's no other rhyme or anything else rules.

So, have fun, be creative, and explore...
