Yes kinks can develop at any particular age or I should say rather than develop come to the forefront. Kinks may already be there in our head but probably some particular event just brings them out.

Hub is not only supportive, he's worse than me. Same with my friends. Who wouldn't be amused is my mum-in-law.

Not sure how my mother in law would have reacted she passed away years ago, but my own mother has come around to skinny dipping and some other "kinks" (I'm not real sure what is considered a kink or a lifestyle choice). Pretty private about my kinks in daily life, but a few friends might know the more vanilla ones that have been brought up in casual talk.
