A Brooklyn woman who worked as a youth organizer for “Squad” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez was arrested Friday on charges she urged her 25,000 social media followers to “attack” a public high school because Jewish students attend it.

Iman Abdul, 27, is accused of posting a screenshot on Thursday of the location of Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences in Manhattan Beach on Google Maps and a chilling caption.

“If anyone needs a public school in NYC to attack for whatever reason … Lexus driving Israhell (sic) loving Zionisits (sic) all attend here,” the since-deleted post read.

“They’ve all gone on ‘Birthright,’ it added, referring to a popular program that offers free 10-day trips to Israel for Jewish young adults.

The NYPD arrested Abdul at her Brooklyn home on Friday, charging her with making a terroristic threat, acting in a manner injurious to a child, aggravated harassment, and making a threat of mass harm.

Abdul worked on the Democratic primary campaigns of socialist pols AOC and state Sen. Julia Salazar in the summer of 2018. She was a paid canvasser for Salazar, the lawmaker told The Post.

We often have a difficult time squaring that circle that you can't tolerate intolerance. More than that that you have an obligation to identify, isolate and engage people who are intolerant.

After the violence we continuously espouse? Please. The cases are few and far between and never endorsed by anybody of any merit. No politicians, celebrities not even well known influencers. You don't have to twist our arms to get us to condemn these actions. Nobody should be attacking a High School period. There is never an excuse for that. There is no excuse for attacking Jewish people, Zionist or otherwise. Zionist should absolutely be engaged with socially and legally because what they are doing is unacceptable.

Zionism should absolutely be isolated from Jewish people as a whole to the point where you don't need to specify. When someone talks about the Proud Boys or the Klan we don't have to specify we aren't talking about all white people. We are talking about a specific group. Republicans have increasingly embraced that faction to the point that its difficult to really parse them. Trump is the leader and we know what kind of person he is. He won the 2016 primary and was considered the King in 2024 enough that I don't recall a Republican primary at least not in any serious sense of the word. There may have been a formal ballot that the media didn't care about because it wsa ceremonial in the extreme but there it is.

Jews have lived continuously in Israel for thousands of years. The Arab colonizers might have built a mosque on top of the ruins of the second Temple, but the Jews were there the whole time. Despite different waves of colonizers have tried to erase the bond between the Jews and Israel going all the way back to the Romans, they all failed, this latest attempt will fail too.
