We can have header images now!

People of Smutland! We can have header images now on our profiles! Have you noticed? Maybe this is old news and I just haven’t happened on discussions about this 😁

Check mine out: my profile
Water. It's Finland, of course there's water.

I updated mine last month. Check it out here.

I think we've been able to do this for a while now, but maybe it's starting to catch on.

Pretty flowers you have there!

I tried to upload one when new style profiles arrived, but back then it didn’t work, I think it had the upload button but then the picture never uploaded. I haven’t tried since before this avatar thing that I re-uploaded my profile pic. Anyway, I was happy to have my own instead of the typewriter thing. Though that was pretty cool too.

Mine is currently a digital drawing I made back in like 2019 while fucking around in Photoshop.

Yep. Took me a couple of attempts to navigate the dark/light settings that worked for me. The photo is of a creek estuary in Darwin, Northern Australia... every time I've walked across the bridge I've wondered how many crocodiles are lurking unseen....*

There's an article giving instructions linked on the front page of the site.

Don't try to edit your photo to any of the sizes recommended in the instructions. That was the first thing I did, and it rejected the photo. Instead, upload the whole original and use their tool to edit it to their size.
