I understand that, the tariffs aren't that big a deal except for some industries. I think the tariff on Aluminum is silly.

As pointed out Canada's other trading partners cannot be counted on to pick up the slack long term. The EU deal with the US should tell you exactly where Canada is on the pecking order as far as trade goes.
