I have come to that conclusion. In Trump One, I put the chaos down to the incompetents that the GOP loaded him with for Cabinet positions, and I had anticipated that there would be a lot more planning and preparation for his appointees this time around, which would lead to a far more professional and far better organized and coherent approach.

Sadly, he's appointed a collections of buffoons, incomptents, sychophants (yes, looking at you, Rubio, you crawler) and the odd person of competence (Tulsi, Noem,) whose comptence is overwhelmed by Trump's uncanny ability to bring chaos and confusion to everything he touches, as well as his seeming inability to read background briefings and actually grasp the reality and nuances of complex situations. And that applies as much to deportations as to anything else.

His only real sucess has been shutting down the southern border, and THAT was Homan and the military, with Trump remaining hands off.

Trump's making Biden look competent.

I saw something on Instagram that said Carney is like Jim of The Office when listening to Trump, looking into camera breaking fourth wall, smiling smirking and subtle eye rolling or almost imperceptible head shaking, lol. Very patient Dad energy.

He wasn’t loaded with cabinet members the first time around by anyone. He chose them. And fortunately, some of those surrounding him were sober adults.

Well, turning the border into basically a military zone will have that effect. Not a humane approach.

Yes - Mike Pompeo always impressed me - I think there were a few of them that stood up to Trump but there were a few that didn't thats for sure

It worked and there I would disagree. No humane approach needed. We shouldn't be taking ANY refugees across either border, and as for economic migrants - no way in hell. This approachs works. The big challeng now is to toss all the illegals back that SHOULD go back and do it fast and en masse without being stupid about it

History will rate Biden much higher than trump.
