I generally make my own coffee at home (typically pour over), because a lot of coffee shops over roast their beans, which tends to make a meh cup of coffee. I want my own setup at home, and it's looking like it's going to run me close to $4-5K, hence my dilemma LOL

My brother spent a fortune on an espresso machine but it didn't stop there, then he spent another fortune on a grinder and other bits and bobs. I really like the coffee he makes but not sure if it's worth the expense. I know the beans make a difference but I brought the same beans back with me and used my machine and there is a difference, still not sure the difference is worth the money.

To be honest, the group has become more and more sophisticated in presentation topic recently. I need to get much more creative in my thinking and up my game...two meetings ago we had a topic presented called, "What is art?" and two short videos were shown that wowed us all.
