Good morning!Good morning friends
Hey youGood morning!![]()
What are you doing?Good morning!![]()
HugsI just want to curl up in a beanbag and cry. I'm so frustrated and angry, and concerned. I hate this week and next week is looking to be the same.
Little me needs to color, but I'm not ready yet.
On call for work today. Just got back a little by ago. Family went to a water park so I'm just sitting around...What are you doing?
Damn dude.... Water park sounds fun though. On call for work today. Just got back a little by ago. Family went to a water park so I'm just sitting around...
Ice cream? Now the neglect of ice cream has been corrected.
I found the groups in Fetlife difficult, too. But you can also find munches (meet-ups in public places, often with the option to order food) there, based on location.
Or other happenings too, for that matter.
What about those of us who aren't sure where we're at quite yet?Good morning to all the Daddies and Littles out there today. Sorry i didn't say much yesterday. Saturdays are busy for me. Farmers market day. And it's hot, so when I get home, I am BEAT!
Went well though! And I have some more left overs! English Muffins, Cheddar Biscuits...and we cooked Breakfast Sandwiches.. (we cook them fresh and made to order there) so if anyone wants Sausage Egg and Cheese or Bacon Egg and Cheese on an English Muffin, or in a burrito/quesadilla, I've got a tray full for everyone!
Also, I'm happy to report that Chapter 4 of my story went live today![]()
What about those of us who aren't sure where we're at quite yet?
I was semi-active in the BDSM community in my area prior to Covid, but let's just say that I didn't mesh well with it and I had issues with how they conducted themselves on a social level, not a BDSM or consent level. They were 100% solid with those things. I am no longer active in the community. My closest friends were also very active in the same community, that's where I met them, and had a similar experience and are minimally active. However, during that time I did learn many things and expanded my horizons.Let's change the subject for a bit.
Until I came to Lit ten years ago, I had never heard the term "Daddy Dom" or had any idea what DD/lg was.
I had known for years that my natural tendency was submission, but only when I felt safe and cared for. I had been in M/s before my marriage, and I thought I was getting D/s when I married. That's a story for another day, but goes deep into my WAIT AND VET, DON'T RUSH stance.
After filing for divorce, I knew that I wanted D/s, but nothing to do with humiliation or sadism. I wanted "a sensual Dom" - those were the words I used.
You see, even though I had been in that M/s dynamic, I hadn't been TAUGHT what to look for outside of that. Lit became a great place to learn many things, not always for the best. But, many took the time to teach and advise.
One of those things was to get involved with a local BDSM community. Go to events, ask questions, get to know people.
Is anyone else familiar with their local community?
Thank you, I do appreciate it, really. You're welcome here, too.
Often, you'll see some people who pop in to say hello who aren't any shade of Dom/sub, but are friends.
I deleted my posts. Sorry. You might want to continue in PM and not take over the thread, please.
I love FetLife. I'm met a lot of great people there. And if I'm being honest, it gives me an outlet for my wife and I to use for our exhibitionist side. Well, that and Fansly...lolI do agree that FetLife is a good resource for local events and munches, as well as information, IMHO.
I am so sorry, I should have said good morning to everyone else as well. What about those of us who aren't sure where we're at quite yet?
Thank you for all the food! A burrito would be wonderful, please? Mexican food is my comfort food as I grew up with it.
No worries, this thread is geared primarily towards Daddies and littles. I probably shouldn't have spoken up like that anyway.I am so sorry, I should have said good morning to everyone else as well.
It's super nice for calming the anxiety.@FrenchLopBunny going back to the story you mentioned in the other thread got me thinking. You said your husband rolled you up in a blanket like a burrito when you were feeling anxiety/stressed. I've seen posts on here about anxiety before. Have any of you ever tried a weighted blanket for those times of anxiety? I had one before. It was nice. I bought too heavy of one but it was nice feeling like you're being held or cuddled even when you're alone. Just a random thought as was travelling between work sites.
