Completed, took a bit and had to look at some of my oldest threads, does that mean I have been here to long?

Parts that keep me coming back? Still meeting new people, learning about places all over the world. Sharing thoughts. This challenge has been awesome and a reason to visit every day.

I haven't been here that long but most of the people who made me feel welcome back then have now gone. Maybe we need to look into the Curse of Salty...

I did find one though, so you'll have to blame them for me still being here

Why am I still here? Well, I know that the right thing to say politically is something about all the good people I've met. And I have met some truly amazing people who I'm lucky enough to think of as friends.

But the thing that keeps me rooted during my many meltdowns is keeping my threads going.

Honestly, there are times when the only thing that keeps me here is needing to point whore on @morelikeasong's Monthly Song Challenge thread. And there are certainly days when that will be my only post. But most of the time I'm here several times a day, just to check in with friends, see what's going on, share a laugh, and maybe see a nip or two. It's a wonderful community of pervs and pervesses and I'm happy to be a part of it.

Sent two messages -- one to the only person I still recognize from when I first joined, and one to a person who was friendly to me before I took my most recent sabbatical.

Why do I keep coming back? Well, I think it is because I am still hoping to make a connection, and make new friends. I'm more optimistic this time about that than I have been in a long time!

Day 26 done. There are still quite a few people around that were nice to me when I first joined so I messaged one that I haven’t interacted with in a while

There is only one thing that keeps me coming back and that is the people that I can have a lot of banter with. I do use Lit as a way to escape the stresses of day to day life and for me that means laughter and not taking myself (or being taken) too seriously.

A day late but I made it.

At first I loved Lit for the attention I got. I know it sounds shallow but I've been on my own a really long time and I'd missed it.

I stay on Lit now for the community. I haven't been a very present participant in it lately - hoping to change that soon - - but it is something I still value.

I also use Lit to learn more about myself. The in depth question threads are really good for those
