Daddy's Little Girl - Fourth Edition

Beanbag corner? 🤔 What all is in here? Mind you, a mild state of confusion and bewilderment is not unusual for me. Not to mention either a limited attention span or a total hyperfocus on something... 🫤
We have everything!

*points in every direction*

There's a huge chair swing in the covered porch. Rocking chairs. Blankets for autumn and winter.

And cookies when they're delivered.

Everything is a lot... 😳 Blankets for the autumn and winter will be really nice. This bunny doesn't do so well in the ice and snow. 🫤 Cookie delivery and art supplies are really nice too.

I hated living in Michigan during winter! I loved it, otherwise and miss the orchards and fruits/vegetable stands in summer.

I'm back in the desert, and the opposite is true. Winter is great, summer ☀️ - not so much!

I envy you, in a good way. I miss everything, even the summers, because the summers here in the northeast are no fun when it's really humid. 😝 I can't wait to go back home.

Also, happy Tuesday!

We made a day trip to the capital yesterday. Turns out, Botanical Gardens are a great place for a little. They have a sensory garden, explicitly daring visitors to take their shoes off! And it had all kinds of material to walk on. Starting with a stone path so that you can hop from stone to stone, as if they were in a stream! There were even some cones to walk on, that was a weird sensation. Also , can you imagine what a perfect place of sprinting from one "oh what is this" to another "I think I know this!" it is? Total exploration!

And then I realised that their sandy pathways were walkable even elsewhere and the lawns were of the most soft and precious type, so I continued barefoot until we moved on to somewhere with more gravelly pathways and no lawns in the shade. My feet thanked me, got some 14 500 - 19 000 steps during the day (depending on which device you believe), so getting some of them without shoes is a relief.

And today I'm doing nothing except pampering myself!
