US Political Meme's

Ayn Rand was a pompous bore. William Buckley and Gore Vidal, who rarely agreed on anything, agreed on Ayn Rand. After reading Atlas Shrugged William Buckley said, "There is no goodness here."

Gore Vidal said of Rand's philosophy that it was "almost perfect in its immorality."
Fair criticism from two men whose books and opinions I’ve enjoyed.

The dichotomy is, those criticisms are coming from two spoiled rich kids/men, who both grew up with silver spoons in their collective gobs in freedom. Rand grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth till it was all taken away at age twelve in the murderous blood drenched autumn of ‘17.

You may not like her delivery but her voice speaks truths you may not like to hear, but needed to hear. Calling Rand “pompous” then using Buckley AND Gore as comparison is quite hilarious! Once again, proving my point…Libs just don’t do irony baby…

Ayn Rand advocated laissez faire capitalism. Rich people benefit from laissez faire capitalism. No one else does. Laissez faire capitalism has been rejected by US voters since the beginning of the twentieth century. Do I need to tell you that Wiliam Buckley was a conservative?

Subscribing to Aun Rand for political advice is the same as subscribing to Stalinism or Marxism. None of those political ideals are possible nor practical in the modern world.

That makes no sense. The parties flipped under Nixon as you know far too well.

You're just being deliberately uneducated.

And Democrats OF TODAY are almost exclusively urbanites, so Democrats are NOT the ones directly hiring / exploiting the undocumented immigrants (slaves). Rural MAGAt republicans OF TODAY are the ones directly hiring / exploiting the undocumented immigrants (slaves).

And the CORPORATE grow (marijuana) operations, like the one that just got raided, are NOT owned / run by TODAY’S Democrats / "Libs".

Related:

Kyle Kazan, the co-founder & CEO of the California grow (marijuana) operation (Glass House Farms) is a yuuuuuuuge Trump supporter, so…

😳

You’re off by about 25 yrs on your tired Radicalized democrat talking point. You forgot about Thurmond’s “DixieCrats” but we can cover that tired trope another day. Let’s field this grounder.

The Radicalized democrat party was shifting left towards a more socialism, atheism, and all around standard left wing planks by the time Nixon was elected. The South by the 70’s and 80’s had become less realist as desegregation and civil rights were enacted and enforced. Immigration from North to South and even Western conservatives rearranged the voting demographics.

Face it, Southerners were more conservative and dozens of democrats switched parties as the political winds shifted. As always, these things are nuanced. You can’t put it down to “the parties flipped”…

As for “deliberately uneducated?”…🙄

Moar deflection / distraction from a PB MAGAt.

😑

Meanwhile:

Bray123 was / is exactly right about the rural (farming) racists (southern & northern) flocking to the republican party in the 60s & 70s.

😑

Side note:

THE FOUNDER & CEO OF THE CALIFORNIA MARIJUANA FARM THAT WAS RECENTLY RAIDED BY ICE IS A YUUUUUUUGE TRUMP SUPPORTER.

😳 😑 🤣

HumpCouchHoratio’s "meme" FAILS on EVERY level.

The voters who were waving guns and the Confederate flag in the 1950s were Democrats.
The voters who do that now are Republicans.
