🌟📬THE JULY PM CHALLENGE📬 :: Year Five📮🌟

A little catching up to do. Holiday weekend was busy.
Day 5: 3 messaged, funny that all had a redhead avatar. I do love a redhead.
Day 6: Tried but failed. Someone who recently went through some problems at home. Reached out but no response. Fingers crossed everything is okay.
Day 7: My message went to my one-day destination, Ireland to see if Cottage Pie and Shepards Pie taste the same.

PM CHALLENGE - DAY SIX

PM at least one Litster - OR message someone in your life - who means a great deal to you and let them know how thankful you are to have them in your life.

1. A special and personal challenge for this one as today would have been my little sister's birthday and I think it's always good to remember how precious and fragile life is and to make an effort to leave nothing unsaid.

2. This is not meant to be a bummer in any way but an appreciation of the people who we love and are grateful to know.
3. We'll keep this one simple today. Just message your person and check in for THREE prize tickets. If you want to let us know a little about why you're thankful for your person, I'd very much love to read it.

I forgot to return & report! I messaged my brother. He's older than me, but I'm proud of him in a way that isn't quite little-sister adoration. He made horrible decisions, but the man he's become in the last ten years since getting clean & sober, is truly remarkable. I know he knows it, he did all the hard work himself afterall. However, it's nice to hear it too, sometimes

I was a little busy yesterday but I completed day 6 and I just completed day 7.
Very hard to choose just one destination, but today I’ll go with Norway. I was recently researching it and it seems like it would be a beautiful place to visit during the warmer months. I was considering spending a week there and doing some rock climbing. It seems like I would get to see a ton of the country just traveling between locations. I want to hike and or boat around and near the fjords, visit the small towns, and go to a couple epic climbing spots.

One message for day 7 sent. There are a lot of people from other countries that I’m glad to have an excuse to message…

For me, I’d love to do any of the following:

1. Visit New Zealand
2. Cruise to Antarctica
3. Spend a year or more living & traveling in the UK & Ireland
4. Go to Chile & Easter Island

This makes me smile. Good on you. And good on him!

I’ve got lots of weird and probably controversial opinions about travel. I’ll just say it’s not all that important a thing to me. Consequently there’s not a lot of places I haven’t seen that I feel much need to.

I’d like to see the grave of Albert Camus I guess. And the northern lights. But I don’t really want to be in the Arctic circle in winter so…..🤷‍♂️

Done and I’ve always had a great love for England. Charming and cosmopolitan at the same time. One city can be provincial and the next a city so large it’s overwhelming. I find the architecture and history amazing. So many stories to be told and learn about all the people who’ve lived and live there now.

Day 7 done ages ago, but only managing to update now...

There are two places right at the top of my bucket list still to visit...

I'd really love to visit Canada. It always seems such a nice, friendly place, and a country that is actually grown up. After visiting Seattle a few weeks ago, I only want to go there more now...

Oh well…
I’m gonna take credit for both the 6th and 7th despite being reminded that that old foreign friend has banned me from such contact.
Saying sorry too many times has consequences.
Hoping rekindle past flames or rebuilt old burnt bridges is wasted effort

On to day 8!

But! I still do hope the Danes are happy that certain people are now more concerned with imprisoning people that ensuring “global peace” by invading Iceland… home of the entrance fo the center of the Earth according to Jules Verne

PM done!

I love genealogy and would love to go on a trip, starting on the west coast of the US and ending in Tunisia, to follow the line I can trace back furthest (to 200 AD)

I love that I'm such a mutt that my ancestry touches at least three continents, and my children hit 5! We like to think of ourselves as one nationality or another, but the truth is that time knows no borders.

Got mine sent.

One of my dream places to visit has always been Ireland. I’d love to see England and Scotland as well but I know a lot of my ancestry is Irish and it just looks so beautiful.

Something else I’ve always wanted to do is take one of those road trips from my point of America all the way through to the other side. Ending in seeing the Redwoods and Big Sur and then back again in a different path, stopping at all the fun oddball touristy sites along the way.

And if we could, since I got all the money in this scenario, throw in a trip to Africa to see the elephants in their natural habitat 🥰

Two visitors?! 😍
We’re practically doubling the population!

Samoa is an absolute must
And cypress
Ooooooh and Turkey (did I hear someone say Mummy makeover)
Oh oh oh Alaska
And Antartica
Definitely Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales
Maybe the Shetland islands…

Day 7 done!

Where I want to visit?! Oy! So many places! I would love to see the whole world if I could. But if I am going at no charge to me at all, I would have to pick Iceland. I hear it is very expensive there so the chances of me getting there on my own are a lot slimmer than me going anywhere else.
