BRAT!
Luf you, too.BRAT!![]()
Not all meds, but many. And my asthma meds make users suspectible of potassium deficit (and they don't even monitor that here, unless you show serious signs of deficit).I learned today that we are more susceptible to dehydration and heat exhaustion, as a "side effect" of medication that treats depression and anxiety....
And maybe this is all meds, but my partner and I were talking about it because the lost was short but we knew most of the medications
Hey, you aren't supposed to call people by pet names unless you are...oh.BRAT!![]()
I came across this and, since a good portion of the U.S. is suffering through a heat wave, I thought it would be good to share.

That would explain some issues I’ve had…Adding aripiprazole to the list of antipsychotics that do this. It (and I think all the antipsychotics listed) impairs your ability to sweat, resulting in overheating. Learned this the hard way!
What are junk journals?I'm working on junk journals this morning ...
I find the chaos relaxing.... It's intentional chaos ....

That drug has it in for me…. Pushed me into diabetes and tries to make me overheat.
Geez, that's irresponsible of her! Not advisable even without drug side effects, it's better to just stay in shade and preferably with ACed spaces.I feel your pain! I have the same problems. If it didn't work so well for what it's intended for, I'd have given up on it a long time ago.
I actually have multiple drugs that affect heat tolerance, so I have to be very careful. My mother insists on dragging me out in her un-air conditioned Jeep with the top out when there are heat advisories and wonders why I end up with heat exhaustion nearly every time. "Just drink more," she says. Doesn't really help when you're not sweating in the first place!

I wanted to like this or something g, but no response there seems right. I agree, if it didn’t work so well abilify would be off my list.I feel your pain! I have the same problems. If it didn't work so well for what it's intended for, I'd have given up on it a long time ago.

I can not wait to find this connection, I've really struggled to naturally reach this potential dynamic....
I wish this for you and all the Littles that are searching for it.I can not wait to find this connection, I've really struggled to naturally reach this potential dynamic....
Thank you .I wish this for you and all the Littles that are searching for it.
I know how difficult it is to calm your mind. He gave me the nickname of Bunny because when we met I was twitchy, and nervous. Our dynamic, coupled with therapy, has dramatically improved my mental health.Thank you .
I really just need to relax I think but my brain gets in the way
I totally get that....I know how difficult it is to calm your mind. He gave me the nickname of Bunny because when we met I was twitchy, and nervous. Our dynamic, coupled with therapy, has dramatically improved my mental health.
He's a protector, and saw (and knew) you as in need of being protected from the beginningI know how difficult it is to calm your mind. He gave me the nickname of Bunny because when we met I was twitchy, and nervous. Our dynamic, coupled with therapy, has dramatically improved my mental health.
He did. Even before that day when he took me to get my cast off. He had seen me around my friend's house, and he has since told me that I immediately brought out the protector instinct in him. Even before we first spoke. I've considered writing the story of our first year from his perspective. Based on the conversations we've had, he was going to make me His from day one. He's a protector, and saw (and knew) you as in need of being protected from the beginning![]()
