I'd do it. I'm happy to show off my meat.Would you participate?
I think it would be amusing to see what people are having for their Sunday dinners. I wouldn’t specifically say it would be JUST for roasts… but since it’ll be called: “roast off” if you post a picture of a KFC it won’t go down with those of us who did a whole roast chicken etc etc![]()
Roasted meats only...I'd do it. I'm happy to show off my meat.
Many have already roasted itRoasted meats only...
I guess you could post your "meat" too and we could "roast" it for you![]()

Goodness… so much technique and sensual, palpable delight in your work. I daresay the meat itself must even enjoy being devoured that expertlyThey can’t have been real meat eaters (or meat enjoyers) then… since those that really love meat, shouldn’t have a favourite cutI’ve found that with the right technique, any meat can be delicious. No need for a heavy roast… sometimes, a slow rub, a little spit, and some pressure in the right places is more than enough to make it unforgettable.

And heaven forfend if the situation ends up getting all tough and.. chewyI don't roast as often as I BBQ, but regardless, for really good meat, you need to add a bit of spice with a rub
However it has to be a wet rub for me. I find dry rubs just suck out the moisture and leaves the mean a bit tough to eat.
And don't you hate it when the meat hasn't been prepared properly and you get that odd hair in your mouth... Kinda ruins the meal for me.
Around an hour each way. . I’m guessing 9/10 miles each way. And a long couple of coffees with a couple of matesHow long will you ride for?

I actually look forward Mondays. Admittedly that feeling may not survive to Monday afternoon, but yup!I’m very fortunate. Except for a couple of years in junior school, I’ve never had that sinking Monday morning feeling
