The biggest problem is that no one knows what the actual rules are. They say no nudity, but I'm seeing people complain that their non nudes are being removed too.

Might as well just disable uploading altogether

For me, they took down every photo that had a person in it, nude or not.

I agree they should have been way more clear about what their line was going to be and also why they were doing it. Because the whole “people don’t want porn images popping up on their phone in public” was so dumb.

Transparency is only difficult when you know people aren't going to like what they see on the other side.

I’m sorry to see it go, too. I’d rather be doing it here than there. But maybe I’ll decide to do something else with this space here. If they come up with more clear rules for images, maybe I’ll be able to bring it back.

Well, I’m usually more of a lurker but wanted to say that your thread was lovely and I really appreciated the images you curated and posted. I understand not wanting to continue but for what it’s worth I think there are a lot of quiet people who would continue to open links. Maybe we need to be more vocal and give more feedback though.

This is really more about me. I don’t want to make the links and think about what to put as the text. I don’t like the aesthetic of the links vs just seeing the curated group of images together. I did this thread because I really enjoyed it, and it took the joy out of it for me.
