When your wife cheats you

I might go to the kitchen for popcorn. We might have an agreement before the wedding about choosing safe side partners, maybe with mutual screening of sides.

This is perhaps my biased response. If I found out my wife was cheating I wouldn't be pissed and end our marriage. I would try to find out the reason why. I believe that there is a difference between "emotional love" sex and just sex. If her explanation is because she fell out of love from me then that's a different story and the recourse might be divorce if it will make both of us happier. If the reason for her cheating is because she needed intimacy to feel better about herself because I stopped having sex with her for a long period of time, she was frustrated from lack of physical contact, she was curious about a different person or kink (that I refused to explore) I "think" it will be easier to accept. Both men and women need some kind of emotional connection. There is a huge satisfaction knowing that the spouse will be there at the end, will help me through difficult times, will grow old together through various ailments, and vice versa. If it's just a physical need for her that I refuse to help with then it's my choice to possibly seek it elsewhere.

Wish my situation was as simple. If I did that, my kids would’ve been crushed. I just couldn’t do that. I grew up in a broken home, my kids need their dad and mom. I knew I was partly to blame, so I suck it up and do whats right for my kids.
 
It depends really.

Although we have an sort of open marriage I think I would still be a bit pissed off. We have a few "rules" about this and one is that our bed/bedroom is out of bounds.

Having said that, if they didn't know I had seen them I would definitely just watch and wank and get over the bedroom rule later....lol

No, that was a theoretical question. My wife and I actually have an open relationship. We once talked about such a situation and realized that this scenario turned us on for different reasons. My wife loves it when I'm jealous. On the other hand, it turns me on when she has sex with other men.
