Feedback on new policy announcement.

No one is forcing anyone else to look at those pictures. The threads are clearly labeled and people choose to be there or not.
Well, some are and some aren't. But it wouldn't be too hard to label threads with things like "NSFW" or "Caution: Nudity ahead!" (like the signs on beaches shared by nudists and non-nudists). That way, if a user displays an image on their phone or computer that somebody else can see, it's on them for not exercising caution.

Edit - Except avatars. So add a blur option for them please.
They've already got my alternate avatar submission, so I don't think I need to use blurring. The black bars are my comment on censorship.

Well, in the interest of research into the details of the policy, let's see if this post gets removed. It looks like we'll have to wait on actual avatars', is @jehoram's is still working.
As of this morning, my original avatar is still working.

This saddens me deeply! You might as well delete the entire amateur picture feedback forum then... and with it will I fear a great many people from the playground... I beg you, don't do this for the whole site... if people don't want to see nudity, they should be smart enough to stay away from parts of the forum that are obviously designed to share nudity

Your site is a warm haven for me, please don't make it less welcome

"we're planning to expand the policy to more of Literotica's existing features with images over the coming months. The obvious place where it will make a difference is in User Avatars"

As I said, I'll be ready when (and if) they do.

Why do you insist on violating site rules?

Are you TRYING to get removed from Lit?

Hey, quick question: When exactly did these new rules go into effect, that you are now accusing her of breaking them by posting what the CURRENT rules define as a soft-nude illustration? According to the Announcement you shared, they "plan to expand the policy to the Literotica Forums". Like... in the future.
Right now, unless there has been a change nobody informed us about, soft-nudes and non-photographs should be fine... right?

Well, she originally broke it by sharing someone else's nude picture on this thread

I'm trying to find out if that particular picture counts as nudity. Someone's been complaining that we don't have enought detail.

I don't know what the plan is for the story side.

On the forum side, I can click three buttons and wipe an entire thread with thousands of posts going back a decade or more. Poof. Gone.

I've seen evidence of Admin wiping entire folders of attachments (again with a few clicks), hundreds or thousands at a time and removing a poster's ability to attach images at all.
That has happened to me. I never posted nudes of myself, yet all the pics I posted are gone. Poof!
I am clueless as to what I did wrong.

It just seems kind of strange to have to do this. From what folks are saying this is coming from not wanting photos to just show up when you don’t expect it. I can totally get this but if you go to am pics, aren’t you looking for pics? Shouldn’t you be expecting an image? If it is about site hosting and how much space it takes or having to review and monitor all the problematic images I can understand it a bit more. But saying it’s cause folks don’t want images to pop up. It seems not going to an am pics thread would stop that.
Maybe I’m missing something.
I was shocked to see all my pics in Amateur Pics Feedback removed. I never posted nudes, so I am totally clueless as to what I did that was wrong.

I’m so sorry, I don’t mean to intrude, but was this recent? I think that might be important to clarify when it comes to this discussion.

Either way, I think feedback is important and I hope you find clarity 💗

If this is about “over the shoulder” adult images, why do the site owners put cam girl and porn game picture ad banners over stories?

Other Sites?

Folks, please DM me suggestions for other sites where middle aged women can safely share art, photos, and discussion.

I had been overjoyed to find that here. Am sad to hear much of it will be removed. Where else can I go that won’t be full of incels and misogyny? Where else can I find respectful users my age celebrating normal bodies my age?

I’d start a separate thread for such suggestions but would it get taken down?
I would be interested also.
If you get any suggestions, please let me know.
I am a mature woman who posted many pics which the guys seemed to love. They were all removed. It breaks my heart.

It happened April 28, or at least that is when I noticed it.. I had about 100 pics and the guys seemed to appreciate it. None were nudes. Am I the only one to experience this? I am crying inside!

Yeah. The entire AmPics subforum is at risk with these rule changes.

Essentially, if I understand correctly, any image containing nudity cannot be embedded so that it automatically appears when scrolling. It might be more strict than that, if it turns out links aren’t allowed either, but I would be surprised if that’s the case.

This would accomplish what @Voboy is stating, as well, since individuals will choose to click and open images rather than have them automatically display.
I'm dumbing it down..so if we use an outside whatever like imgbb and link it's cool.. that's why they took the attach photo option away.. right?
