Just had a few days away visiting family. Last time I was able to go my visit was under the shadow of a lot of tragedy so being able to smile and laugh together again has really been a tonic.

Hello all and to our rambling boss woman
I’m back from an adventure on the Isle of Barra in very west Scotland. Because time was short over Easter we flew from Glasgow, landing on a beach.

Friendly folk, good Indian restaurant, fun community shop, lots of baa sheep, nice beaches, cold wind so I wore all my layers each day, quite a lot of dumped/ abandoned stuff like cars, boats, caravans… so yes - an adventure

What a shame about all the abandoned stuff.
But can't go wrong with a decent place for a curry and somewhere lovely to enjoy it
