That does not change the culpability of the image sender. Or the breach of the other party.

I have a question, why are you so angry about my post? A reminder to be careful. A reminder that senders control their images being sent. What exactly do you have an issue with?

“t but let's face it. The images didn't take themselves.” is some slut shaming garbage. Sure we live in a world and people should be careful. But even if you’re not careful the responsibility for the wrongdoing lies with the wrongdoer. Entirely. End of story.

But the guys on here are looking for wank fodder. It is why they are here. You have to keep that in mind when posting. Are you ok with some random using your image in that way? While a poster may want to control the use of its image; once it is up, it legally belongs to Lit. In case you didn't know.

It’s really a shame some people have no morals and are just scum. But to brag about it is something entirely over the top and for that guy not to expect a reaction from others is simply crazy…

Setting act of saving pics in itself set aside for a moment, what the fuck compels a person to post or brag about it and make the people who share here feel dehumanized, exploited and/or icky about it? I don’t think anyone here wants to be one of hundreds of pairs of tits in a folder. Could’ve perved in silence without hurting people who thought you might’ve been a friend or friendly acquaintance 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lady, this is a sex/erotica site. I am one of the few who do not play. You are projecting your insecurities.

Again, reminding people that their actions have consequences can be applied to not touching hot things. Reminding them to be careful who they trust is just as plain. I mean seriously.
Lack of culpability is one of the major issues in our society these days. I mean I could have been blunt like I used to.
-Make dumb choices, and get dumb consequences.
Today I chose to use more words and explain my thoughts on the discussion.
I do not understand the thinking that a poster feels when posting explicit images that some creep somewhere won't misuse them. This is not FB, Twitter, or some other PC social media. Just be careful.

Ps: this does not mean I am ok with icky behavior. But since you can't control others, control yourself.

You absolutely are. You said I blamed people and I didn’t. You said I defended folks that downloaded images and I didn’t. You have misrepresented what I said. If it makes you feel better to believe that you know what I said better than I do go for it but it does not make it true. I don’t even know who the person that claimed to be downloading pics is and I don’t care.
As I’ve said, downloading someone else’s pics is gross but there is no expectation of any kind of behavior because of the nature of where we are.
As posters, the only thing we can control is what we choose to share. This is not a violation of trust like it would be if you privately shared something(which also happens but is even worse in my mind.) this is a public forum where people that you do not know can and do download images.
Being upset because you thought they were on the same page may be understandable but it is not shocking. We need to always be asking ourselves how well we know someone.
Boasting about doing it and not being shamed by others when they share their unhappiness is frustrating and probably infuriating but it just exemplifies what I am saying. WE DO NOT REALLY KNOW THE FOLKS ON HERE. Would you give every person that you interact with personal details like your full name and address? No. And why not? Because you don’t really know them. Or it may not be safe. We have learned about internet safety. Hell, we probably taught our kids about it. But can folks honestly say they are following the lessons they taught their kids? I know my lessons DID NOT include promoting posting sexy pics. In fact, my lessons were DO NOT post pics.
Be disappointed in the behavior of others but don’t forget to look at your own compliance in the situation. I think this hurts so much because folks know they were lulled into a false sense of security and that realizations sucks.

When I joined Lit, I knew I'd never post my face because I didn't want my ex to start trouble. If you see a teasing chest photo or a smile, that's all you'd see publicly.

Heck, there's even a thread about "tributes" and if you'd want to know about them.

I know the original context was about expectations about the community "having consent" and doing the right thing, but there are hundreds of thousands of members on Literotica, some who don't even post - and you have no idea what they are doing with pictures you post.

I'll take it a step further. Non members - "Guests" - can view the forums. They can read our posts, view pictures...how many people have we seen that have said, "I viewed it for a while, and just decided to join."

And, no - I'm not condoning it - but, I will reiterate, if you don't want someone downloading your photos, only YOU can control their access to it.
