Well, back to work after a really nice vacation, even though it was cut back a day.

Yesterday, we cut back and pruned all of the blueberry bushes and weed and put down pre-emergent near the beds.

It’s beginning to look like we have a vole problem in the backyard too…

Now back to my day job and a three week sprint of classes I’m doing as well as all the regular shit (aka meetings and corralling of people) I do. Sigh.

Now this is family lore from the exes side of the fam.

The lavender would be a deal breaker for me. Allergies to it. I would probably substitute it for sandalwood or fresh cut grass with gasoline if I'm feeling cute.

Like sleeping teenagers

My naps tend to be 2-4 hours. They're lovely, but totally screw up my nighttime sleeping!

Same but so far, no nighttime interruptions unless the nap goes for more than 4 hours. But that's usually a sign of something else.

Morning everyone. Week two of training begins today. I should be sleeping. First night in a hotel is always tough, at least for me. Hope you all have the best Monday possible.

I sleep better when I use my portable door lock, but that doesn't stop the hallway noise - just makes me feel more secure so the hallway noise is considered less of a threat by my limbic system??

The forecast for Wednesday is a beast for more severe weather. Watch out MissK and others in its path.

I have to tell you. On vacation last week I took a number of naps. And it was great!

Last Monday, I took a 45 minute nap in the morning and then like an hour nap in the afternoon. More vacations! More naps!

Pretty sure that's called "Retirement"

I'm more a savory person than sweet. So I'm the target audience for that "hide the veggie" type of food. But I still need to know it's in there b/c of intolerances and interactions w/ meds, etc.
Not sure I'll ever be a Beet Person, but willing to try 1 or 2 more varieties before I throw in the towel
