So, random question. Sparked by the visual talk.

I do not show my face on Lit. Even when I play. Admittedly, play for me is something of a rarity, but . . . no.

There's a handful of people that have seen a few body shots. Nothing too risqué, but enough to get a general idea of my form, but no face.

Lately, I find myself curious. Is that unusual? Do most people show their faces to their partner's when they play?

I'm probably different in the sense that I'm more likely to show my face. Until this recent weight loss. I liked my face. I also have no secrets. My husband knows I'm here. I don't have a job that might frown upon my face being out there.

My vajayjay is what I hold more sacred. I happen to think that's beautiful and should be shared with those who've earned my trust.

Very much like Angelica stated. I know I'm easy to get face pics out of. But if it doesn't eventually get reciprocated. I tend to start backing away. I want that mutual trust or it only goes so far.

I’ve sent unsolicited face pics in a link to people that I was getting to know. Gave them the option to click if they wanted to. I’m much less paranoid about it now than I was 10 years ago.

For some people, seeing a play partner's face is what gives them the comfort level to play without inhibitions. For others, that comfort level comes from anonymity. While I'm Team Anonymity here, I'm not saying either is right or wrong - just that some people clearly expect one, while others clearly expect the other, and I'm not sure where they'd then find common ground.

I have posted face pics on and off on the show us your face thread. But I always make a pic just for that so it does not appear anywhere else. Of course when everyone can eventually have a facial recognition app, the game is over LOL

Me! I was "sextorted" out of a LOT of money. And my only 2 other socials at the time were FB and LinkedIn. It took them longer than they expected, but they finally pieced it all together, and that was without a solid face pic, and my face was never associated with my naked body. But they took the backgrounds which happened to be the same to use as correlation of it being me.

I deleted my old account here, went from tight FB controls to Ft. Knox, and kept a low profile digitally for over a year.

I dont share pics, on here or with others, that are posted on my socials for just this reason. However, if we're in a situation-ship, I've probably given you enough information to find me anyway.

On the flip side, I'm not great at staying angry or holding a grudge, people who do just make it look exhausting. So, I can't think of something that would cause me to dox someone and try to hurt their real life, and I'll try my best to stick with people who are similarly minded

My love of horror movies has distorted my way of thinking to always wonder the worst possible scenario.
Hopefully, this has kept me safe, but probably not.

It is horrifying to think what a crazy person might do, but I suppose the same could be said for someone just seeing you in the grocery store and following you home.

Sorry to make everyone terrified, but like a girlfriend of mine used to say “You’re only paranoid if someone isn’t following you.”

Oh, it can be worse than that. Someone used similar methods against an ex of mine and was able to find out where she worked. He then turned up there unannounced one day. She no longer has any social media presence at all as a result, and partly as a result of that incident and partly another incident that was even more serious, she had to change her address and phone number. She's basically a hermit.

And all the while, Hollywood pushes the trope to men that if she says "no", if the man pursues her hard enough she will eventually "see sense" and realise that he is her one twue wuv and she'll give in and marry the entitled, mentally deranged, twat.

That’s a horrible story, but also a time when she needs some good guy friends to help that guy understand the err of his ways and what could happen if he continues, if you know what I mean.
