Sex & Shenanigans

Yesssssssss
Yayyy! Enjoy! The creator, Josef Fares, was a pretty legendary film maker in Sweden before he shifted into game development.

His movies are like a mix of Hot Fuzz, Scary Movie, and Bollywood shenanigans

Kopps: In a tiny town in rural Sweden, the local police station is under threat of shutting down due to too little crime being commited. So they start staging big-time crime with the help of Benny who thinks he's a super-cop 😂

Fight scene!

I remember watching Kopps many years ago and it being hilarious!
I had no idea his films even had foreign distribution! That's so cool

His first movie Jalla Jalla is off the charts, but it's much less visual. Don't think it'd survive translation, but, maaaybe...

So, I succeeded?

Or are we talking about the dog girl 🤢
I had successfully blocked that out until your comment. Thanks 😝

She actually created a new profile after ditching the initial one that traumatized me. How do I know? For starters, she mentioned her adoration for her dogs and referenced them by name in her about me section 🙈

I "laughed" when I read the first part, because me too. Then I read the rest and had to change my response...

Based on the votes here, I find myself in the decided minority with having no love for metal, horror movies, or video games. Cats are fine, I guess, but I prefer dogs.

Junk food is good, but I am past 50, so cannot tolerate a Rum for the Border(TM) the way I could at 25.

Superhero movies seem to have edged out Star Wars, though Empire and Rogue One are the pinnacle. Maybe I need to change my selection from alcohol to coffee, since I can no longer drink without consequences. So....

I guess I update me previous vote to Star Wars and coffee. The caffeine will help me get through the TV back catalogue.

Finding a book so good you can't put it down. I've read something like 90 chapters over the past 2 days. Been a while since I was this hooked on a book.

God I love this feeling.

Worm. If anyone's interested. Gritty self-published super hero novel. A teen who just got her powers (a female lead in a super hero novel??? come on, i'm sold already) goes out on her first ever patrol, but her creepy outfit and even creepier powers has her immediately mistaken for a villain. Shenanigans ensue. Fantastic characters, and character development. Like off the charts.

Did I mention I love this feeling??
I just finished this book. As it's a web serial, and I refused to read the chapter index, I had no idea how long it would be when I started.

Turns out it's about 7000 conventional pages. 1,680,000 words. The average novel is about 400 pages or 100.000 words.

I just read the equivalent of 17 books in 2 weeks.

I need to get out more.

Or... maybe I will, one day. Once I finish the sequel. Wonder how long this one is....

Wow and I thought I was bad!! I just picked back up a web series myself. One of my favotire authors of all time. She does a fantastic job, really takes you on an emotional roller coaster! I will have to check out that series when I catch back up with The Wandering Inn. If you like fantasy/litRPG I would reccomend it.

Gave it a quick googling, and while I really appreciate any and all book-tips, isekais (person transported to another world, often containing game-elements) are really not my thing 😖 Fantasy in general is pretty low on the list, unless it's contemporary. Like Shadowrun! Contemporary sci-fintasy. The dragons are corporate CEOs, sitting on digital piles of gold 😂

But I truly hope you get as lost in it as I did with Worm! It's the best feeling ever 🥰

I can understand that it isn't everyone's genre. But I would still recommend giving it a try. She can really toy with your emotions better than any author I have ever read. I am an old guy that has been reading for year, and a bit of a gamer geek. So I enjoy the gaming references. Hey and as a book title says... Never make a deal with a Dragon!! Yes that is Shadow Run lol

The issue I have with Isekais and similar genres is the sheer amount of time spent detailing systems, powers, skills and stuff like that. I lose interest immediately. Doesn't matter much how great the rest is if it's constantly broken up by "Ding! Level up! Time to detail these 6 skills out of which you can only pick 1 and the other will never be mentioned again!" and the MC going "hummm hawww I wonder..."

It's also the reason why I can't for the life of me get into Brian Sanderson's stuff! I have a copy of the Stormlight Archive laying around somewhere with a bookmark at some chapter where he spend like 10 pages going into excruciating detail on how fucking lamps work! I don't need to know that! 😂

Huff... hufff..... sorry. I get a bit worked up over literature. I don't mean to yuck your yum. Not intentionally. Sorry 🙏

So I enjoy the gaming references. Hey and as a book title says... Never make a deal with a Dragon!! Yes that is Shadow Run lol
  @UnquietDreams is a big Shadow Run fan too! There are dozens of us, DOZENS!

The Wandering Inn isn't too bad. Usually besides talking about them using skills, the characters only level when they sleep, and it just mentions the level change and any new skills. I am OLD I played Shadowrun 1st edition back in the 80's!!

I've never played the tabletops, I only got into the computer adaptations a few years ago and loved them! A brilliantly crafted world.

I am glad you knew what a litrpg is. On here lit rpg has a whole other meaning! lol @vagrantx
Well I did have to google that particular term, but recognized it as Isekai as I'm a fan of anime, and Isekais have taken that world by storm this past decade-and-change....

Now if it was a raunchy literotica worthy litrpg, then I might give it a chance 🤤
