I hate talking about myself... but if I must... I'm proud of my artistic abilities I suppose. I could talk about them more.

I'm a sadist.

Cat. They got it made. I would be pampered by a human all day and take lots of naps.

Picture this: It was the year 1999, January 1st. I was 18. I would want to party like it was that time over, and over, and over... you get the idea.

I’d want to be a cow. But not some factory farm cow. Just a nice cow at a petting zoo or living free range. One reason I don’t eat mammals is I think they are smart and experience a thing I’d call joy and happiness. Given yeh chance to verify that I’d do so. So probably not a depressed cow either.

This reminded me, I’m reading this litRPg book. Basic premise is people are in virtual reality On-line RPG during an intergalactic colonization voyage. The main characters find two players who tried to enter an area that linked to earth bound servers that weren’t connected anymore. So they’d been stuck on a loading screen, conscious, for thousands of years.

It’s literally one of the most horrifying things I’ve ever read.

I want to say yes but also I sorta suspect that the burden of that choice would be even more unbearable. I’m not gonna say death is good but I do think human brains are evolved and designed to live within its constraints. Living without it would require an entirely different set up IMHO
