Sex & Shenanigans

It’s Thirsty Thursday …

Anyone have a favourite drink?
Water
Favourite alcoholic drink?
Bourbon Old Fashioned
The drink you had that time you almost died?
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey
The drink that always brings out a good memory?
A well made, perfectly proportioned Manhattan.

And my own recipe for a Bahama Mama, that has to be drunk in the Bahamas for the full flavor to come through.
I don’t know why it be that way, but it does 🏝️☀️

Anyone have a favourite drink?
Coffee, black
Favourite alcoholic drink?
Martini (2.75:1, with a couple shakes of orange bitters, with three olives) is my "adult" drink of choice. Whisky sour, with fresh lemon juice, brown simple sugar, an egg white, and good whiskey is my "comfy chair and blanket" of drinks.
The drink you had that time you almost died?
Which time?
The drink that always brings out a good memory?
Between the Sheets. Met her at the bar and she asked me what she should have. She thought it was just a pickup line (and it was that) but she liked it.

Anyone have a favourite drink?
Coffee... how I take it, or if I want a fancy one, usually depends on my mood
Favourite alcoholic drink?
Very dry gin martini or a Manhattan with extra cherries
The drink you had that time you almost died?

The drink that always brings out a good memory?

Omg Irish car bombs… right up there with jager bombs.

Delicious but dangerous.

That show was so good…

I have a memory of being in the hospital as a kid after a concussion and being in a “kids room” where this was on the TV.
Concussion and huffing huh? Yup. That Tracks.

My best friend’s little brother was banned from watching it because his mom was a nurse and did not love being woken up by him slamming pots and pans when they said the secret word 🤣

I didn’t huff as a kid?!!!

Rude.

I just rode my bike down a ridiculously steep hill without a helmet (cuz 80s kids)

Back to drinks..

what is one drink you drink daily?
Water. Coffee as well, but I already answered that one.
what is one drink you will never drink again?
Kessler Whiskey. It is basically whiskey-flavored vodka. I was 17, hadn't eaten that day, and my buddy's asshole friend just kept pouring them for me. Blacked out for most of the day. I didn't pass out -- they told me what I did that day, but I didn't remember any of it. I just sort of came back, sitting on a weight bench, watching some World War II movie on TV. It was so weird, like someone just switched me on. One minute it was mid-morning and I was buzzed, then a second later for me it was almost midnight. Nothing between.
Is there a drink you’ve tried on a dare?
Not exactly a dare, but see yesterday's question about "weird animals you have eaten."
If you drink booze … does it take a lot to get you drunk?
Yes, and I have never had a hangover, even when I so richly deserved one.

Back to drinks..
🍻☕🥂🥳👯🏻♀️
what is one drink you drink daily?
Coffee (duh) and water

@UnquietDreams are we twins 🤭
what is one drink you will never drink again?
Jack and coke. Unnecessary for me anyway, but my 18th birthday was a story 🤣
Is there a drink you’ve tried on a dare?
On a dare... 🤔... oh. Not a specific drink. A cup that random alcohols were poured into. I drank it. Ugh.
If you drink booze … does it take a lot to get you drunk?
Yes, usually. I have only ever had 1 hangover. Been very surprised it hasn't happened more with my track record 🤦🏻‍♀️

I always hated history …

Like.. I love history and find it super interesting… I hated having to take a CLASS in it.
I remember in high school, we had a history teacher who was a coach, but had to teach something, so he just had student teachers all year. The first quarter was this guy who pushed us. Actual conversations, reasons why things happened, essay questions on tests, interesting projects--and I loved it. The second quarter was the opposite. Boring lectures, multiple choice questions, memorized dates, and he gave you the answers to his homework if you asked nicely. The coach teacher asked me (in our one conversation of the year) why my grade dropped from an A to a C. "You don't pay attention to your class at all, do you?"

Best class to take though.
Everything else is bound by rules.

Math, Science, English = Rules.

History = It just is, and its the one thing everyone and everything makes whether they intend to or not.

I had a pickle shot along with fried pickles at a local bar a few weeks ago. It scratched two itches at once.
