What I don't understand about guys on Lit

I constantly see guys putting ads on Lit. Sometimes the same guy putting up ad after ad. Or various guys putting up ads seeking women.

Here is what I don't understand. If you are a guy looking for a woman why go to a site where the men outnumber the women 100 to 1? You should be going to sites where there are a ton of women, not some site where it's all guys jerking themselves off. Really? This is how you are going to find a woman??

This place is what we would call a sausage fest. I think most guys are genuinely interested in finding someone as opposed to just wasting their time. I could be wrong though. Most guys are completely clueless when it comes to women.

Most lit men are cool to me... I've even established my own wonderful set of admirers

As far as men seeking women...I do see women seeking men as often.

While I don't disagree with the overall point of the OP, I do find it interesting that the recommendation is instead of posting on this site, they should be posting on another site. Is trying to meet someone in real life completely out of the question now?

I've found dozens of wonderful lady chat partners on here. But almost always through PMs. Sometimes through them reaching out to me first. And I've even gotten a few hits from my own personals ads. But that's certainly not the most efficient way to make a connection.

Fundamentally I agree with you but you see these personals and all you see is the OP giving it a bump every week. I don't think some of these guys realize just how lopsided the proportion of men to women is here.

1. Sites where women outnumber men simply don't exist (despite what the link ads on porn sites tell you )

2. Women, quite sensibly, on the whole treat social sites as just that, social sites. If they do happen to connect on a deeper level than that, lovely, but it's a fact of life that women just aren't as desperate for online or r/l hookups as men usually come over.

3. Men's ads usually just look thirsty. You only need to check the "unanswered threads" page to see this multiple times every day.

4. When women get abusive responses to a polite expression of not interested, they unsurprisingly tend to stop responding altogether.

For guys who really want to connect with a woman on here I have no advice. Maybe just interact in threads in an insightful or humorous way. Don't treat every reply as a come-on (they aren't unless they explicitly state they are). Don't, whatever you do, use the term "female". Reducing complex human interaction to a biological term is just fucking dumb

I think it just comes down to, be a decent person, even if you're horny and perverted. If you can't be at least a decent person on here, you probably can't have positive interactions with women in real life, either. And you probably deserve to be alone.
