China is moving billions of dollars worth of industry to countries America wants to keep good ties with to avoid tariffs.

They are happy to tie Trump up in knots over trade
For example… China more or less owns the global Solar Power market, last year less than 1% of US imported 54gW
solar panels came from China. However over 80% of them came from four countries in south-east Asia: Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

And they were all manufactured by the Chinese using shell companies.
The US trade with Pakistan has risen from $130 million in 2011 to over $7.5 billion last year, mostly because China bought and developed Pakistans Gwadar Port on the Arabian Sea, which will rival Dubai for opulence within a decade.

Right now they’re already one step ahead

The question is why are the people who never saw a tax or arbitrary expense levied upon entire markets if not economies they didn't support, suddenly freaking out, clutching their pearls and acting like suddenly they were Ron Paul fans all along!!!??? LOL

I can’t control other members but I really hope that you don’t stoop to reply to this dipshit.

He stands for nothing, republicans stand for nothing. He’s now dismissing the tariffs as if conservatives have always loved taxes. He never did think of the harm it would do the middle class or to the economy - he only relished the perception of harm it would bring to our trading partners.
 
Mexico will pretend the troops it sends to the border are stopping the flow of fentanyl. Trump will pretend he’s doing anything at all to stop the flow of weapons from US arms manufacturers to cartels. And gullible MAGAs will pretend it’s a victory.

Funny how the lefties argue that for tariffs, but pretend the same argument doesn't apply to raising taxes on other things.

Oops. Charge them more, and costs get passed on down. Maybe lefties need to remember that next time they start whining about more taxes on *anything*.
